Patch 1.5.11046

Hey everyone,

We've pushed out a patch today with a couple of bigger and smaller fixes and additions following last week's Two-Handed Weapons Update and Dead Man DLC launch:

  • [Windows Mixed Reality] Fixed WindowsMR / SteamVR controls issue
  • [DLC] Fixed infinite ammo bug
  • [DLC] Fixed rocket launch sequence checkpoint
  • [Two-Handed Mode] Fixed bug where items were not properly restored on checkpoint when player died holding a two-handed weapon with two hands
  • [Two-handed Mode] Adjusted flashlight brightness when mounted on helmet
  • Fixed freeze when pressing back to main menu twice in the watch menu
  • Re-added Connect by IP functionality

[6 June] Hotfix for Windows Mixed Reality headsets:
Moving with the thumbstick is now supported again for sliding locomotion. With the exception of sprinting, since the Steam Overlay is mapped to that button (Thumbstick press). Touchpad still supports full movement, including sprinting.

DEAD MAN DLC OUT NOW

We’re proud to welcome you to the final days before the zombie apocalypse with ARIZONA SUNSHINE – DEAD MAN DLC!

Watch the launch trailer.

Arizona Sunshine - Dead Man DLC adds an all-new campaign mission that tells a prequel story to the event of the main campaign. Playing as Dockson, a US Army Special Forces corporal, you are sent to an infested US missile base where you will need to lead a frantic attempt to contain the expanding zombie outbreak. The fate of the American Southwest rests in your hands as you fight to launch a nuclear-warhead loaded missile vital to stopping the spread of zombies. In the close-quarters of the dark missile silo, even the most veteran of Arizona Sunshine survivors will need to stay on their toes to overcome the undead onslaught and complete their mission.

Additionally, Dead Man DLC includes:
  • 6 new achievements spread across an infected missile base
  • Two-handed mode support
  • A new fully automatic submachine gun
  • A new two-handed shotgun
  • A new tactical handgun
  • 3 new masks: the military gas mask, the skull mask, and the Dead Man mask
  • Character customization options

Arizona Sunshine - Dead Man DLC launches alongside the major free Two-Handed Weapons Update, which is now available for all Arizona Sunshine players.

For more information, visit the Dead Man DLC store page. The DLC is now available for Oculus Rift, Vive and Windows MR at $2,49/€2,49.

Enjoy playing and beware of spoilers! ;-)

[BETA LIVE] Multiplayer Stress Test on 5/21

Hey all,

Come Thursday Arizona Sunshine receives a major networking overhaul as part of the Two-Handed Update, which will launch as a free update to the base game just in time for the Dead Man DLC.

Help us ensure the networking overhaul is ready to go live to everyone and join the multiplayer stress test today at 5 - 10PM PT (time-slot extended to allow more players to join).

To join the stress test, you'll need to participate in a beta version of the game that has the Two-Handed Update. That means you can check out its contents early while you’re at it.

The beta can now be accessed by following the steps below:
  • Select Arizona Sunshine from your library, right click and select properties.
  • Go to the “BETAS” tab by clicking on it.
  • Fill out the password “mpstresstest” and press Check Code.
  • Select the beta branche “mp_stresstest” from the dropdown menu.
  • Wait for the beta game version to download to your computer.
  • Run Arizona Sunshine.

Please share your feedback with us using this feedback form.

If you want to return to the default version of the game, you can do so by following these steps:
Select Arizona Sunshine from your library, right click and select properties.
Go to the “BETAS” tab by clicking on it.
Select “NONE – Opt out of all beta programs” from the dropdown menu.
Wait for the default game version to download to your computer.
Run Arizona Sunshine.

We will be taking down the beta version sometime tomorrow, reverting remaining beta players to the default version of the game.
