Update 20: Major UI Overhaul, and Out-Of-Memory Fix

Hey All,
We’ve finally got the overhauled build ready! :PhantasmalSeeker:

Apologies for the time it took to get sorted. A lot of fundamental changes were necessary to replace the deprecated UI we had, and upgrade to a much newer Unity version.

The new UI should be a lot cleaner than the old one. :PhantasmalEye:

We’ve also changed the fundamental structure of the level generation now, so hopefully this will address most of the memory issues that some users were having.

Just note that with the new UI, we will have some teething issues. There are currently a couple of issues including the key mapping, which currently doesn’t take effect until the game is restarted. We’ll truck on and iron these out.

We’ll also be looking at making those new room variants next!

Update 19.1 - Interim Fixes



Hey All,
We’ve been hard at work on the Unity Engine upgrade, so I thought I’d sneak in a few bug fixes as well as the Supporters’ room in the meantime. This room is a huge thank you to our top players including some super star twitch streamers and youtubers.

Apologies that we've been a bit slow with some of the bug fixes: we also have a conference in Singapore called Casual Connect Asia next week so we’ve been conscious about not breaking the game too! ːPhantasmalSkullː


  • Fixed Dr Room so that junkies can’t phase through the doors (they open now when they go through)
  • Reduced player collider size
  • Added Supporters’ room
  • Reduced view bobbing by more than half to reduce nausea issues for some players
  • Removed storeroom planks that couldn’t be picked up
  • Fixed creature population for later levels
