Update Notice (02/06/2026)

[p]We would like to inform you of the details regarding the client update scheduled for release on Friday, February 6.[/p][p]This update will be deployed without any scheduled maintenance. By updating your client to the latest version starting from 15:00 (UTC+9) on the day of release, the updates will be applied automatically.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Adjustments and improvements (In-game)[/h2]
  • [p]Conducted a major performance optimization across the overall game play environment.[/p]
    • [p]Optimized core gameplay processes to reduce CPU load during play.[/p]
    • [p]Improved memory allocation and management structures to minimize unnecessary resource consumption.[/p]
    • [p]Optimized graphical performance to ensure smoother NOTE movement in high-frame-rate environments, such as 144Hz, 240Hz, and above.[/p]
  • [p]In addition to the above, several issues encountered during gameplay have been resolved.[/p]
    • [p]Fixed an issue where screen stuttering occurred during the first \[Section Success] effect while playing a song.[/p]
    • [p]Fixed an issue where SPEED could not be adjusted continuously by holding down the increase/decrease SPEED keys.[/p]
    • [p]Fixed an issue where adjusting the SPEED at a specific timing immediately after a song ended caused the input to be processed repeatedly, resulting in the SPEED jumping to its maximum or minimum value.[/p]
    • [p]Fixed an issue where key input effects from a previous session remained on screen if a RETRY was triggered while a key was being held down.[/p]
    • [p]Fixed an issue where DB's Live2D model would appear with the "MISS" animation still active if the session was restarted immediately after a \[MISS] judgment.[/p]
[p][/p][p]Currently, our development team is prioritizing overall performance optimization and stability improvements, including the items mentioned above.[/p][p]Detailed information regarding these efforts will be shared in next week’s 'Developer’s Notes.'   • [p]Selecting content from a DLC you do not own will now directly open its Store page via the Steam Overlay. (Steam Version Only)[/p]

  • [p]Fixed an issue where certain UI elements in the 'Radio' Device Skin appeared misaligned.[/p]
  • [p]When multiple scrolling texts are displayed within a single UI element, they will now sync to scroll at the same timing.[/p]
    • [p]Example: In the 'Play info widget' on the gameplay screen, if both the Song Title and Artist Name are long, their scroll effects will now trigger simultaneously.[/p]
      • [p]When playing 〈MEGALOVANIA (Camellia Remix)〉, you will see the Song Title ([c]MEGALOVANIA (Camellia Remix)[/c]) and Artist Name ([c]Toby Fox (Remixed by Camellia)[/c]) scroll in perfect sync.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where DB's Live2D motion displayed abnormally when switching pages using the \[Space] key on the Result screen.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the mouse interaction area for the \[P.A.T.C.H.] icon (top-right of the screen) did not match the actual visual icon area.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the Sound Effect setting titles ([c]BASS BOOST[/c], [c]TREBLE BOOST[/c], [c]LIVE MODE[/c]) in the \[OPTION] menu appeared blurry on PAUSE screen.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue in the English language setting where the button text for unobtained voices in the \[VOICE CHANGE] menu exceeded the UI area, and updated the text for clarity:[/p]

Hotfix Notice (01/27/2026)

[p]We would like to inform you about the latest hotfix scheduled for release on Tuesday, Jan 27.[/p][p]The update will be deployed without any server maintenance, so the hotfix will be applied automatically when you install the latest version of the client.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]
  • [p]\[1/27 ADDED] Fixed an issue where P.A.T.C.H. points awarded as a PERFECT BONUS were displayed incorrectly in certain situations.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where significant performance drops occurred in certain environments, making gameplay difficult.[/p]
  • [p]Improved an issue where key inputs were intermittently not recognized during gameplay in certain environments.[/p]
[p][/p][p][/p][h2]Known Issues[/h2][p]We would like to share the details of the issues that our development team has identified and is currently prioritizing for correction.[/p][p]The following represent the primary issues under review. These will be addressed through an additional hotfix to be deployed following today’s update.[/p]

  • [p]Performance degradation occurring when a high polling rate is configured.[/p]
  • [p]Other general defects hindering smooth gameplay and overall stability.[/p]
[p][/p][p][/p][h2]A Message to Our Players[/h2][p]Our development team is currently working on wide-ranging improvements and optimizations. In addition to providing swift resolutions for recently reported issues, we are focusing on fundamentally addressing the long-standing stability concerns of the game client.[/p][p]Key objectives of this process include stabilizing the Polling Rate settings and resolving interference issues between the game client and the sound engine system.[/p][p]As we are primarily performing structural enhancements to the core of the game client, we are conducting inspections with more caution than ever to prevent any unforeseen side effects. We ask for your kind understanding as this meticulous process has caused the work to take longer than expected, resulting in a delay for our players.[/p][p][/p][p]In the hotfix scheduled for release on Tuesday, Jan 27, we will implement some of the ongoing improvements.
