v0.8.10 – Faster Order Flow and Kitchen Improvements

[p]Hello, Chefs 🍳🌊 [/p][p]We have released a new update for Coastal Kitchen Simulator. This version focuses on making order flow faster and smoothing several interactions in the kitchen, based on your feedback. Thank you for continuing to share your experiences with us. Every report helps us refine the game for everyone. [/p][p][/p][p]Here’s what’s new in this update:[/p][p][/p][h3]New Order Preparation Flow[/h3][p]We have updated how the preparing state works after you serve an order. Once a ready serving tray is lifted from the kitchen table, the next order can immediately move into the preparing state. This means you no longer need to wait for the server or you to deliver the tray to customer before starting the next order. The goal is to reduce downtime between orders so your kitchen can keep moving smoothly during busy service. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]Fixes and Improvements[/h3]
  1. [p]Employee Cutting After Boiling Crab and Lobster[/p][p]We have fixed an issue where employees did not help with cutting after Crab and Lobster were boiled. Your staff should now correctly assist with the cutting step once the boiling process is complete.[/p]
  2. [p]Ingredient Containers Staying in Place[/p][p]There was a problem where some ingredient containers could bounce or be pushed up to the second floor. This has been corrected so containers stay where they belong in the kitchen. [/p]
  3. [p]Clearer Kitchen Monitor Status[/p][p]The kitchen monitor now has clearer status colors for each order. Orders that are still being prepared are shown in blue, and orders that are ready to be served are shown in green. This should make it easier to see the state of each order at a glance. [/p][p][/p]
  4. [p]Improved Item Pickup, Especially Plates[/p][p]We have addressed an issue where players suddenly had difficulty picking up certain items, especially plates. Item interaction should now feel more reliable, making it easier to grab what you need when service gets hectic. [/p]
  5. [p]Customer Table Interaction Update[/p][p]Interacting with customer tables has been updated so you can now confirm serving with either left click or right click. Previously, many players often miss clicked between left and right click when serving food, so this change is meant to make table service more comfortable and forgiving. [/p][p][/p]
  6. [p]Dish Washer Animation Fix [/p][p]We have fixed a problem where washing in the dish washer did not show the loading animation or flowing water. The washing process should now display correctly, making it clear when dishes are being cleaned. [/p][p][/p]
