宗门起源 丨 团队1月进度报告

[p]Dear players, hello everyone![/p][p]As the year draws to a close, we are delighted to see so much attention and anticipation for "Eastern Era." While the project is entering its final stages, we are also continuously refining the game through multiple rounds of in-depth development. We hope that when the game launches, it will live up to everyone's expectations![/p][p]We have carefully reviewed player feedback from various platforms: suggestions in the comments section, complaints in private messages, long analyses after playtesting, bug reports, and gameplay ideas... We have carefully read and categorized each and every one, and incorporated many reasonable and valuable suggestions directly into our current development plan. It's safe to say that the "Eastern Era" you see now is deeply imprinted with the ideas and expectations of our players.[/p][p]This is not just a game "made for you to play," but a creation completed together with our players. Co-creating games with players is a long-term direction we have always adhered to.[/p][p]The year is ending, but our work continues. Thank you to every player who has accompanied us this far, and we look forward to continuing to work hand in hand with you in the days to come—[/p][p]to create a truly unique world of martial arts that belongs to all of us.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
I. The Familiar NPCs: We're Carefully Planning Their Inclusion
[p]This month, our team reviewed the entire process and realized that the sects seemed to be filled with new faces. We focused on one key question:[/p][p]Should those well-known characters from the martial arts world, such as the abbots of Shaolin, Wudang, and Emei, be included in the game?[/p][p]The conclusion is yes! And not just for a brief appearance.[/p][p]These characters will participate in martial arts events, storylines, and sect rivalries as real NPCs.[/p][p]They will have their own stances, behavioral logic, and may even influence your development path.[/p][p]Simply put:[/p][p]They are not just cameo appearances or Easter eggs, but living martial artists in this world.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
II. Optimized Map: Dustfall Valley
[p]This month, we have optimized and improved the valley map.[/p][p]Map Features:[/p][p]- Terrain layering[/p][p]- Exploration paths[/p][p]- Event density[/p][p]- Interconnected combat and encounters[/p][p]It's no longer just "another area," but a region worth exploring repeatedly.[/p][p]Traveling is no longer boring; there are surprises to be found while traversing the mountains and valleys.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
III. New Martial Arts Techniques: Toad Style and Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palms are Here!
[p]This month, we've added several new martial arts systems, including:[/p][p]- Toad Style[/p][p]- Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palms[/p][p]We didn't simply recreate the movements of these martial arts; we focused on refining:[/p][p]- Combat rhythm[/p][p]- Move timing[/p][p]- Style differences[/p][p]Our goal is clear: to make each martial art feel like "this is my style."[/p][p]Are you a burst damage player?[/p][p]A control player?[/p][p]A guerrilla fighter?[/p][p]Or do you prefer extreme violent aesthetics? You can experience completely different gameplay with each style.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
IV. New System: Captive & Prisoner Gameplay, the martial arts world is getting "darker"
[p]We believe the most exciting system is the Captive & Prisoner system.[/p][p]Captured enemies can be imprisoned, interrogated, tortured, persuaded to surrender, and ultimately dealt with.[/p][p]Yes, the martial arts world is starting to abandon its traditional ethics. 😈[/p][p]The core gameplay of this system isn't "cruelty," but rather the power of choice.[/p][p]Turn enemies into allies, extract information from them, and even use them to manipulate the entire martial arts world.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
V. The official opening PV is finally complete: the world setting is now fully explained!
[p]The game's opening PV is finally finished.[/p][p]The goal of this PV is simple: to let you know what kind of world you're in the moment you start the game.[/p][p]Many players previously said:[/p][p]"The system is fun, but I want to learn more about the world's background."[/p][p]We listened.[/p][p]This time, we've completely revamped the world setting, incorporating the historical context, the power dynamics of the martial arts world, the situation of the various sects, and the underlying conflicts, all into this PV.[/p][p]In short:[/p][p]You're no longer "suddenly thrown into a game," but officially stepping into a martial arts world in the midst of great upheaval.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Finally,
[p]As the year draws to a close, development continues.[/p][p]Thank you to every player who has been with us until now. This world is slowly taking shape.[/p][p]And what it will ultimately become depends on how far we go together![/p]
