Mod.io for User Levels (similar to Steam Workshop) now in Public Beta!
[p]We've been working on integrating mod.io support for user levels over the past weeks, and are happy to announce that we're now ready to release this new feature as a public beta! The beta will run for about a week and a bit, and then the feature will be released for the regular stable version in a big update.[/p][p][/p]
What's mod.io?
[p]Mod.io offers very similar functionality to Steam Workshop, but also works for GOG users and in case we'll port the game to consoles later on it'll also be supported there. Community made levels are uploaded to the mod.io platform and you can then browse and play these levels directly from the game's menu, without needing to manually download the files and place them into the right spot, etc. Uploading also works directly from the game's level editor.[/p][p]Mod.io supports log-in via your Steam account, so it's not necessary to create an additional account - the experience will be quite seamless.[/p][p]For a little preview, you can see the current selection of user levels here: https://mod.io/g/biomenace-remastered[/p][p][/p]
How to enable the beta & give feedback
[p]To activate the beta, right-click the game in your Steam library, click "Properties", go to the "Game Versions & Betas" tab, and then select "modio-beta" from the list. You can go back to the regular version of the game at any time by selecting "Default" from the list.[/p][p]We've created a dedicated forum for feedback and bug reports: https://steamcommunity.com/app/3459100/discussions/2/[/p][p]Or you can join our Discord server: https://discord.gg/uJB6kqPgpq[/p]
