You can see just about every area in The City no matter where you are standing, very quickly go from one place to another and, most importantly, get on the court faster.[/p][p][/p][p]Scan your surroundings and spot jetsetting planes and hovering helicopters that take flight in the distance, adding to the dynamic nature of this living, breathing environment. Based on community feedback, The City also received new lighting improvements including a fixed time-of-day that will reduce harsh shadows and sunlight when playing games outdoors in places like the Park. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]2K26’s City features an open-air plaza, with the Gatorade Training Facility, Event Center, Arena, and other locations all within walking distance. The Theater, REC, Proving Grounds, and more line the perimeter of The City, making it easy to go door-to-door to play in all of the refreshed lobbies, courts, and arenas.

[/p][p]Take your first steps in The City and survey a world where everything is within reach.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Before The City developed into the thriving basketball metropolis we know today, there was the Park. Introduced in NBA 2K14, the Park was the birthplace of online MyPLAYER competition, where friends and the community could come together to enjoy pick-up games. [/p][p][/p][p]Long a defining part of NBA 2K, Parks are BACK in NBA 2K26 with bold new features to make every season and even every day a new experience.[/p][p][/p][p]The past few years, The City has been an amusement park of sorts, with fantastical regions and futuristic environments. NBA 2K26’s new Parks are getting back to the basics with a more natural and grounded feel for a more realistic aesthetic, typical of what you’d see in a real-world environment.[/p][p][/p][p]Access the Park by entering the giant, rotating basketball that not only serves as the centerpiece of The City, but also as your gateway to a new location featuring stunning courts. [/p][p][/p][p]At the start of each new Season, every six weeks, a different Park environment will be introduced. Along with a number of new original designs, you will also find yourself playing in complete HD remasters of all four iconic NBA 2K16 MyPARKs.[/p][p][/p][p]Season 1’s Park is a brand new locale called Skyline Park, set in a magnificent urban environment that captures the essence of hooping and competing on your favorite neighborhood courts. [/p][p][/p][p]Team up with your friends and visit the Park to start competing for bragging rights and rewards. To further celebrate the return of the Park, competition is incentivized with Park MVPs, Streak Setters, Streak Breakers, and a 25% REP Bonus to keep you coming back for bragging rights and leveling up.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]Park MVPs[/h3][p][/p][p]The top REP player in each Park server will be marked with a Park MVP icon, visible above their head and also in the bird’s-eye view of the courts so that you can easily spot where they are playing. [/p][p][/p][p]Playing against the Park MVP can be a very rewarding experience. If you can defeat the Park MVP, you’ll earn 5XREP AND 5XVC for that game! The Park MVP bonus is earnable once every three hours, so get out there and chase them down.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]Streak Setters[/h3][p][/p][p]Etch your greatness in the Park by setting the longest win streak for a court in the current season. The players with the longest streak on each court will have their names spotlighted right on the side of the court for all to see! Take over a court, rattle off consecutive wins, and stamp your name as the top MyPLAYER on the block.[/p][p][/p][h3]Streak Breakers[/h3][p][/p][p]On the flip side, derail another team’s active winning streaks to earn more VC. With the all-new Streak Breaker bonus, there’s real motivation to seek out the hottest teams in the Park and end their reign.[/p][p][/p][p]The longer your opponent’s streak, the more VC you’ll earn for snapping it. Start earning bonus VC by snapping five-game win streaks. Once a team reaches 20 wins in a row, every win after that adds 1,000 VC to the total you can earn for stopping them. For example, if you’re the one to end a 30-game win streak, you’ll earn a 30,000 VC bonus.[/p][p][/p][p]There’s no limit to how many Streak Breaker bonuses you can earn in a day, so reap the rewards with every streak you spoil.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]REP Boost[/h3][p][/p][p]Boost your MyPLAYER REP in the Park with a 25% REP bonus! All Park games played in NBA 2K26 will activate a 25% REP boost; level up to earn rewards and upgrades to your on-court performance. • [p]Geo Rank leaderboards celebrate the most victorious players across the globe and allow you to filter by different geographical regions, including all 50 U.S. states. If you are one of the top players in any region of the world, you will get a custom show-off flair shown during your pre-game intro. Get out there and rep your home![/p]
• [p]Crew leaderboards track the winningest Crews and allows you to see which Crew truly runs The City.[/p]

[p][/p][h3]REP & Legend[/h3][p][/p][p]The REP system from NBA 2K25 returns in NBA 2K26, but with fresh rewards. Players familiar with REP in The City will recognize the Rookie, Starter, Veteran, and Legend categories, and their five-tier structure. At each tier, players can unlock different rewards, ranging from Cap Breakers, Boosters, Animations, VC, and more.[/p][p] [/p][p]Earn your place in NBA 2K26 and accumulate REP to achieve Legend status.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Twice a season, teams in The City will come together for the Pro-Am Summit to compete in 3v3 and 5v5 tournaments.[/p][p][/p][p]The Pro-Am Summit will happen every three weeks, with competitive play happening on Saturday and Sunday of Summit weekends. The first one will be on September 21-22, 2025. [/p][p][/p][p]To qualify, all your team needs to do is play 10 Pro-Am games together in the weeks leading up to the next Summit.[/p][p][/p][p]During Summit weekend, each game your team plays is scored based on the outcome and your performances. The leaderboard ranks each team by the sum of your five highest game scores from that weekend. The Top 5, Top 10, Top 50, and Top 100 teams will each receive elite rewards fit for the best organized teams in The City. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Rule the new Street Kings mode and lead your team to victory. [/p][p][/p][p]Last year, Streetball featured three courts spread out across The City, but this year we’ve condensed it to one convenient, new location, with lots of new features. Play solo or join forces with up to two friends and challenge skilled CPU bosses.[/p][p][/p][p]This all-in-one approach boasts a more cohesive design; players will be welcomed by an impressive collegiate-style building with Roman-inspired architectural features, with adjoining courts on opposite sides of the complex.[/p][p][/p][p]Street Kings is a great way to level up your MyPLAYER and earn 40 levels of rewards that will give you a truly unique look out in The City. Upgrade your Badges, test out new animations, and sharpen your skills on the Street Kings battlefield.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]There’s always something new to do in NBA 2K26. This year, we’ve fine-tuned simulation performance under the hood to yield more strategic decisions that run 8% faster on average and up to 26% faster in NBA 2K26 compared to NBA 2K25.[/p][p][/p][p]Players now have the freedom to adjust simulations by toggling between three options: Normal, Smarter, and Faster. [/p][p][/p][p]‘Smarter’ sims will utilize more advanced trade logic that can consider over 5,000 potential trade assets and variables per trade, such as trade protections and pick swaps, to best mirror real-life front office strategies, but will conduct the sim at a slower rate in order to do so.[/p][p][/p][p]‘Faster’ sims will progress through seasons more quickly, while still making tactical decisions. The core rules behind the salary cap, trades, and free agency will be respected. Still, sims may not consider every possible outcome—pick protection or swaps—when evaluating a team’s asset stockpile. During this conversation, the team governor will assign you primary and secondary directives to influence your strategy for the season. It’s imperative that you meet these directives to keep your job as general manager.[/p][p][/p][p]Team governors vary from team to team, some are driven by championships at any cost, while others are focused on the balance sheet and want to ensure the arena is filled and profitability continues. Combined with team-specific offseason scenarios, your experience will change based on the team you’ve selected, keeping challenges fluid and stimulating.[/p][p][/p][p]At the end of the season, the team governor will review your directives and goals for the year, and evaluate whether you met expectations. If you do, you’ll be rewarded with a bigger budget that can be used during the offseason to target premier players or renovate your facilities.[/p][p][/p][h3]Team Finances & Facilities[/h3][p][/p][p]Managing the team ledger is a necessary part of running a successful franchise. Team finances have been tweaked to be more reflective of each MyNBA era, with accurate team revenue and budgets, luxury tax mechanics, year-to-year salary cap increases, and more throughout league history.[/p][p][/p][p]Maintaining a quality product in the NBA is challenging; make it easier on yourself by keeping your facilities up to date to increase player interest in your organization. Upgrade your facilities with Facility Points—earned by winning championships—which can go toward updating Team Training, Team Recovery, Arena, and more:[/p][p][/p]

• [p]Team Training Facilities: Your players will have improved strength, hustle, and potential. Upgraded training facilities can also influence player interest in negotiation; they're less likely to want to play for a team with shabby facilities.[/p]
• [p]Team Recovery Facilities: Your players will be more durable, with a reduced chance of injury and faster recovery times. This can also give you a boost in contract negotiations.[/p]
• [p]Luxury Box Amenities: Go the extra mile and raise the value of your luxury boxes. These premium seats will get fans in the door, allow you to raise your ticket prices, and ultimately boost profits in the long run.[/p]
• [p]Fan Event: Host a fan event that boosts the attendance for a single game by 15%.[/p]
• [p]Arena Renovations: A state-of-the-art arena gives a +20% boost to your attendance, which drops by 1% each year as your arena degrades. Renovating will restore the attendance boost to full strength and give you the chance to redesign or rename the arena. However, renovations are a costly, multi-year project and require 15 Facility Points so be sure to plan ahead.[/p]
