Go To Sleep News

Version 1.0.2

[p]Hey everyone, this is the second and last part of the Post Release Patch update. [/p][p]The main changes in this update was adjusting the difficulty for some sections of the game that I've seen players were stuck on, as well as adding additional clarification for the mechanic of one of the enemies.[/p][p]Changes and Fixes:[/p]
 • [p]Fully fixed and added missing controller haptics in the main gameplay section[/p]
 • [p]Adjusted the difficulty of level 3 making that level's enemies more forgiving.[/p]
 • [p]Adjusted the difficulty of the mirror enemy to be a little bit easier to handle [/p]
 • [p]Added an extra dialogue hint for the tutorial section of level 5[/p]
 • [p]Adjusted the hitbox of the mirror enemy to be more accurate[/p]
 • [p]Fixed the text width of the "FullScreen" and "Show Hud" options[/p]
[p]This will be the final large patch fix for the game as I'm so far satisfied with the final state of the game. If there are any major game breaking bugs I'll make sure to fix them however I'll be now putting my attention into adding a final post-content update for the game. As said before this update will include more localization, Input remapping, and a custom mode which has been heavily requested feature.[/p][p]Overall though I can not express how grateful I am for the amazing support and feedback you all given me, and I'm glad you all have been enjoying my game![/p][p][/p]

Version 1.0.1

[p]Hey everyone, this is going to be the first part of the Post Release Patch update. I decided to split the update into two parts, just to provide an immediate fix for some of the more urgent issues.
[/p][p]Changes and Fixes:[/p]
 • [p]Added an audio indicator for the mirror enemy when he appears, as well as an additional audio hint on how his mechanic works.[/p]
 • [p]Added extra instruction keys at the bed, under the bed, the door, and the closet to show that you can look around and move from Closet to Door and vice versa.[/p]
 • [p]Added a toggle for displaying the instruction keys if you want to play the game textless (aside from the dialogue)[/p]
 • [p]Fixed an issue where changing to mouse from controller while paused can place the mouse cursor at the bottom left of the screen.[/p]
[p][/p][p]Known Issues:[/p][p]These issues will be fixed in the second part of this update[/p]
 • [p]Some Haptic feedback is missing during the main levels.[/p]
 • [p]Switching mid language during dialogue will break the current dialogue sentence,[/p]
 • [p]The mirror enemy can teleport to his starting spot of his death animation when looking at a specific spot in the mirror (He should only do that when you don't look at the mirror)[/p]
[p]Thank you to everyone who provided feedback, and I hope you all enjoy the game![/p]

Go To Sleep - Out Now!

Go To Sleep is now officially out!
[p]I want to thank everyone who has given me support throughout this game's development and I want to thank everyone who wishlisted the game on Steam! [/p][p]There will be an initial 20% launch sale for the first week of release as well as another launch sale for the Steam Scream Fest coming later this month![/p][p][/p]
With the release, here are just a couple of main user features:
• [p]The game can be played on both Windows and Mac computers.[/p]
 • [p]Linux users can play the game through Steam Proton.[/p]
 • [p]The game can be played on the Steam deck as well using Steam Proton![/p]
 • [p]There is native support for both XBox and PlayStation controllers.[/p]
 • [p]The game currently supports 5 different languages: English, Spanish (Castilian), French, Italian, and German[/p]
What's Next?
[p]There is going to be a small post launch patch later this week. There were a just a few minor bugs that were found within the last few hours of play testing, however they have almost no impact on the game itself. For transparency, these known bugs are:[/p]
 • [p]Some haptic controller feedback is not being triggered in the main levels.[/p]
 • [p]Switching languages mid-dialogue can cause the current dialogue sentence to cut out.[/p]
 • [p]Pausing with the controller and then switching to mouse during one of the cutscenes can cause the cursor to disappear for the remainder of that cutscene.[/p]
[p]After this bug fix though, I plan to have one last content update for the game which will mostly expand on user features such as:[/p]
 • [p]Keyboard and Controller Input Remapping[/p]
 • [p]Localizing the game for 10 additional languages (Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, etc)[/p]
[p][/p]
Overall
[p]I want to give my thanks again to everyone who has supported me throughout this game's development. I can not express how much I appreciate it, and I hope you all will enjoy my game![/p][p][/p]

Go To Sleep - Coming October 16th!

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]In this original point-and-click horror game, you play as a young teen whose dream has twisted into a terrifying nightmare. Now locked inside your bedroom, you must fend off your demon and survive the night until your alarm wakes you up. [/p][p]Unfortunately, that won’t be anytime soon.[/p][p][/p][p]Wishlist on Steam!: [dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p]

End of August Progress Update

[p]Hey everyone, It’s time for what I believe will be the final progress update. Development has really picked up speed, and I’m happy to say the game is now very close to completion. All that’s left is adding that final layer of polish.[/p]

[p]This update will be fairly short. Over the past few months, I’ve shown plenty of gameplay, cutscenes, and animations, so to avoid spoiling anything further, I’ll just be highlighting some of the additional features the game has to offer. [/p][p]Controls[/p][p]If you haven’t already seen it on the Steam page, the game has full support for both Xbox and PlayStation controllers. You can switch between them at any point during gameplay, and all the expected features are supported such as haptic feedback for a more immersive experience.[/p][p][/p][p]Localization
The game will launch with support for five languages: English, Spanish (Castilian), French, Italian, and German. Depending on how the release goes, I plan to expand localization to include even more languages in future updates.[/p][p][/p][p]Post-game bonus content [/p][p]After completing the game, you’ll unlock access to the Extras menu! This will include some behind-the-scenes images and clips, along with the very first demo of the game, originally created all the way back in 2024![/p][p] [/p]

[p]That wraps up this month’s progress update! If you’re disappointed that this one didn’t include much gameplay, don’t worry. I’ll be releasing some dedicated gameplay clips very soon.[/p][p]As mentioned last month, I was aiming for a September or October release. At this point, I’m very confident in an October launch. I’m planning on sharing a release date trailer later this month, along with an updated Steam page that better reflects the final version of the game.[/p][p]Thank you all once again for your continued support and if you haven’t already, be sure to wishlist the game on Steam![/p]
