End of August Progress Update

[p]Hey everyone, It’s time for what I believe will be the final progress update. Development has really picked up speed, and I’m happy to say the game is now very close to completion. All that’s left is adding that final layer of polish.[/p]

[p]This update will be fairly short. Over the past few months, I’ve shown plenty of gameplay, cutscenes, and animations, so to avoid spoiling anything further, I’ll just be highlighting some of the additional features the game has to offer. [/p][p]Controls[/p][p]If you haven’t already seen it on the Steam page, the game has full support for both Xbox and PlayStation controllers. You can switch between them at any point during gameplay, and all the expected features are supported such as haptic feedback for a more immersive experience.[/p][p][/p][p]Localization
The game will launch with support for five languages: English, Spanish (Castilian), French, Italian, and German. Depending on how the release goes, I plan to expand localization to include even more languages in future updates.[/p][p][/p][p]Post-game bonus content [/p][p]After completing the game, you’ll unlock access to the Extras menu! This will include some behind-the-scenes images and clips, along with the very first demo of the game, originally created all the way back in 2024![/p][p] [/p]

[p]That wraps up this month’s progress update! If you’re disappointed that this one didn’t include much gameplay, don’t worry. I’ll be releasing some dedicated gameplay clips very soon.[/p][p]As mentioned last month, I was aiming for a September or October release. At this point, I’m very confident in an October launch. I’m planning on sharing a release date trailer later this month, along with an updated Steam page that better reflects the final version of the game.[/p][p]Thank you all once again for your continued support and if you haven’t already, be sure to wishlist the game on Steam![/p]

End of July Progress Update + 1000 Wishlists!

[p]Hey everyone, it's time for this month's progress update and I’m thrilled to share that the game has officially surpassed 1,000 wishlists on Steam! A huge thank you to everyone who’s wishlisted the game and shown support. It truly means a lot![/p]

[p]To start off this update will be the gameplay with all the core gameplay systems now fully implemented! This includes player mechanics, enemy AI, and all other essential features leaving just the final step, polishing! This consists of just cleaning up the visuals, adding sound effects, and fine-tuning the gameplay through testing. [/p][p][/p][p]Next up are the cutscenes. Only one cutscene segment is left, which I'm aiming to have finished and implemented within the first half of August, but everything else has been completed! Like the gameplay, it just needs polishing with visuals and sound effects. Here's how one of the current cutscenes looks in-game. Previously, I showed its non-engine version. [/p][p](The compression artifacts are from the GIF conversion, not the game footage)[/p][p][/p][p][/p]

[p]Now last thing is the release date. To be very honest, I am really bad at estimating final release dates, mostly due to there being some real-life issues or other minor delays. However, I feel very confident that I'll have the game out within the next two months. I plan for August to finalize all the major scenes, leaving only just the last bit of polish and the preparation for publishing, which I hope to have completed in September. In terms of a release window, I'd say between September to October. As such, I've updated the Steam page to show that it'll be coming out in September, and at the latest it may be October.[/p]

[p]That’s all for this update! Thank you all again for your continued support. I'm really happy that the game has reached the 1000 wishlist mark, as it was one of my milestones for the game. If you haven't wishlisted the game, feel free to. I'm hoping we can reach 2000 wishlists before the game launches. [/p][p]I'll see you all in the next update post![/p]

End of June Progress Update

[p]Hey everyone, slightly late but it's time for another progress update. This one is a bit short as last month, but alot more progress has been made. Additionally, there will be an update regarding the game's sale price.[/p]

[p]Starting off with the cutscenes, there are only 2 sequences left to complete, and at the current rate, they should be done this month. Here's just a little BTS clip of one of the completed cutscenes.[/p][p][/p][p]For the gameplay, more progress has been made on the AI, as well as the addition of one of the special death animations.[/p][p][/p]

[p]That wraps up the progress for this month. However, I have one final update regarding the game's pricing. Originally, the game was set to launch at $4.99. However, given the amount of work and investment that has gone into its development, the price will be slightly increased to $6.99. There will still be an initial launch discount for the first 7 days for each store platform. I do apologize for the increase but it is necessary. If there are any questions regarding the price increase, feel free to let me know in the comments.[/p]

[p]That’s all for this update! Thank you all once again for your continued support and be sure to wishlist the game on Steam if you haven’t already. We recently surpassed 900 wishlists, and I’m incredibly grateful for all the positive support so far.[/p]

End of May Progress Update

Hey everyone, it's that time of the month with another progress update. This one's gonna be a bit shorter than the rest, but so far good progress has been made this month.

This month, a lot of the gameplay was programmed in, which you can see in the GIF below. It includes player movement, UI, and a jumpscare at the end. For the cutscenes, they are over 50% complete. I've shown some clips of them in the previous update, however, I'll have to refrain from showing any more as to not spoil any of the game's surprises.

That's all for this update, again this one is just a short update. In regards to the release date, It's going to be pushed back to a Q3 release (July-September). I do apologize for this delay, there have been some development issues behind the scenes, but overall I'm confident that the game will be out before September.

Thank you all again for your continuous support, and make sure to wishlist the game on Steam! I'll see you all in the next update!

End of April Progress Update

Hey everyone, another month has passed and I'm here to bring this month's update. Now I did mention last post that I would announce a release date, however, due to delays in the animations as well as me trying to finish my current semester of college, I have to postpone the announcement. Thankfully, I'll be finishing the semester in early May, so more progress will be made that month and I will hopefully have a set date for you guys. My current goal is to have the game finished for a late June/early July launch.

Now even though there have been delays, some good work has been made on the cutscenes. Below is just a few snippets.

I personally can't wait for you guys to see the full final version, but that's all for this update. Thank you all for your continuous support, and make sure to wishlist the game on Steam!
I'll see you all in the next update!
