Demo Update - Controller Support, Re-mappable Controls and Advanced Settings

[p]Hey Cozy Beach fishers![/p][p]Thanks for your patience while we got this new update out! We hit a few extra bugs and had a teammate out sick for a bit over a week so there were some delays, but we are back and have this awesome new update to share! Here's what's in it:[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]You can now use a controller to comfortably play the Cozy Beach demo! You'll need the keyboard for entering your username and some multiplayer features, but you can chill out and fish with a controller and it works great now.[/p][p]
If you prefer a specific setup for your controls, you can now remap all of the buttons (keyboard & mouse, or controller) in the options menu. Set it up exactly how you'd like - or snap it back to default if things get too wild.[/p][p]

We've added settings to control audio levels, screen sizes and brightness, and calibration for camera movement.[/p][p][/p][p]This is super fun - if you're already in a multiplayer room, you can invite friends to join you directly! Just go to Steam's player list, select a friend, find the "Invite to Game" option and they'll fly right out to Cozy Beach to join you in no time!

[/p][p] We are still squashing some bugs, including: [/p][p]-If you jump on the raccoon's head and dance, then someone else jumps onto your head and dances, you may not see the second player's dancing. [/p][p]-If you cast the fishing rod and the fishing rod intersects with the sand, the fish may not be catchable. [/p][p]-Sometimes a fish gets stuck "under the sand" in multiplayer mode and is uncatchable. [/p][p]-On Steam deck, if you navigate to the multiplayer options and try to join a room, the native keyboard comes up and cannot be dismissed so you need to restart the Deck. [/p][p]-On-screen text sometimes appears in an incorrect font. [/p][p]-Likely a couple other small bugs.[/p][p]Poor top kitty cannot dance 😢[/p][p][/p][p]If you spot any bugs, please report them here and we will try and fix them as soon as we can! [/p][p][/p][p]This is super close to done and we wanted to include it with this update, but we got stuck on the native keyboard bug (details above) and decided to launch the update without Deck compatibility. It is still high priority tho and you'll likely see Steam Deck support in the next update or two.[/p][p]
FYI it is generally playable on the Deck with this update, esp in solo mode, it's just not totally bug-free yet.

Customize your kitty avatar!!! We are super hyped for this. We'll be rolling out a basic character creator first, then adding more stuff to it over time. Got some cool clothes you want to see in the game? Let us know![/p][p] [/p][p][/p][p] We have a really fun quest concept planned for the demo so you'll have some fishing goals to achieve - and a fun prize to win![/p][p][/p][p] We have the translations, and the localization code has been added to the options menu and thru-out the game. We just haven't had time to get to this yet. Soon, soon.[/p][p]
Our hope is to get Deck support and the character creator available in a November update. Localization and the Capy Quest should come soon after if all goes well, fingers crossed!
