New demo update out! New features, fast swimming, QOL & bug fixes

[p]Hey everyone, happy new year![/p][p]We are hyped to go into 2026 with Cozy Beach - it's been really fun to develop and hearing community feedback has been awesome. We took part in a lot of curated festivals and a couple showcases, and we recently made it onto Steam's Popular Upcoming list! It's a super exciting milestone for us, so thank you for your support for Cozy Beach, we appreciate it so much![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]We also just updated the Cozy Beach demo-[/p][p][/p][p]New Things[/p][p]-Fast swimming![/p][p]-You can now cast a line and fish if you're high up on a cliff or in a tree, cause it's fun[/p][p]-New UI for interacting with NPCs & objects. You can now identify what/who you can interact with as you approach, with a button indicator that changes for different controllers and mapping.[/p][p]-Advanced NPC dialog - we brought Capy's dialog system to Razzy & Snarky so you can chat with them a bit too, instead of just getting a quick line.[/p][p]-You can no longer cast a line until you're close enough to the water[/p][p]-Improved the progress bar for reeling so it is easier to understand[/p][p]-Added scrolling for the multiplayer chat window[/p][p][/p][p]Bug Fixes[/p][p]-Capy Quest bugs fixed. Players will no longer be trapped in a conversation with Capy, and the final stamp will register successfully, triggering the final prize.[/p][p]-The changing tent had a couple oddnesses with multiplayer that have been smoothed out[/p][p]-Mis-aligned clothing in the character creator should be fixed now[/p][p]-Some Steam Deck compatibility improvements[/p][p]-A few other bugs here and there[/p][p][/p][p]Known Issues[/p][p]-Sometimes it is tricky to dance on another player's head. We are working on this.[/p][p]-If you are in multiplayer and someone swims fast, you may not see the other player's splashes in the water.[/p][p][/p][p]Next Up[/p][p]-Localization & tutorial[/p][p]-More quests! We have a few really fun ideas for quests around the island.[/p][p]-More environmental interactions[/p][p]-A couple more features/systems - the inventory, tool switching, treasure maps, shops, and a map to see where you & your friends are[/p][p][/p][p]That's it for now.
