It's Go Time!

[p]Choo Choo Engineers![/p][p]Today our epic and dangerous journey begins! It is up to you to rescue survivors and make it through the apocalypse. I know you will survive and destroy the boss, because you're awesome![/p][p]Thank you to all the fans and translators who volunteered their time and skill to help make Choo Choo Survivor 2 an incredible experience![/p][p]Thanks,[/p][p]GTGD[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]

Custom Colour Palette System Upgrade

[p]Choo Choo Engineers![/p][p]I've made a few improvements to the custom colour palette system:[/p]
  1. [p]You can now enter a title for your custom colour palette.[/p]
  2. [p]You can paste in a quick fill code to auto populate the colour fields if you have one.[/p]
  3. [p]You can generate a quick fill code and so share your palette with others. They just have to paste it into their game and done! Also this is a good forum to share your colour palettes.[/p]

Custom Colour Palettes

[p]Choo Choo Engineers![/p][p]I've added the option for you to define three custom colour palettes which can recolour the game. You can access them from Game Settings > Colour Palette.[/p][p]You can then click on the Edit button for any of the three custom colours and then type in or copy paste in the hexadecimal colour codes into each of the input fields. Press Apply to apply that colour scheme. You must ensure that each colour is unique and not transparent to avoid sprite atlas corruption. [/p][p]If the game sprite atlas does get corrupted it is not over for the game. Just go back to palettes and select the first palette SLS08. Shut the game down and then restart it, and all should be good.[/p][p]A great place to find interesting colour schemes (almost all of the Choo Choo Survivor 2 colour schemes are from there) is a website called Lospec and you can easily copy paste the hexadecimal codes from there.[/p][p]Thanks,[/p][p]GTGD[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]

The Imminent Journey - Choo Choo Survivor Newsletter

[p][/p][p]Choo Choo Engineers!

Launch is not far away! On the 27th of October it will be up to you to rescue survivors and try to erase some of the damage done by the evil Raincoat corporation in Choo Choo Survivor 2!

[/p][p]Over the last year of development a huge amount has been accomplished and Choo Choo Survivor 2 will be launching with much more content for you to enjoy than what Choo Choo Survivor 1 had when it launched. There are 11 locomotives to drive and 11 auxiliary weapons to use, 9 primary weapons to choose from, and five bosses to destroy! As you increase your victory count you will gain access to more locos, weapons and bosses! There are over 70 Steam Achievements to gain!

[/p][p]Besides English, four other languages are supported thanks to the hard work of volunteer translators who have been taking time out to translate Choo Choo Survivor 2. We have Spanish, German, Brazilian Portuguese and Japanese!

[/p][p]There are many colour schemes that you can apply to the game and there's a particular green one that looks cool and retro and endorsed by Grisu the dragon! I'm still trying to develop a system so you can create a few of your own custom colour schemes.

[/p][p]If you haven't already, then please don't forget to try out the polished demo. It will be part of Steam Next Fest that starts on the 13th of October![/p][p]
Thanks,
GTGD[/p]
