What Is Mega Man Star Force?
Mega Man Star Force is an action RPG series set in the future, where advanced wave technology has become an integral part of everyday life. The series features a unique battle system that combines real-time action with card-based strategy. Players take on the role of the protagonist, Geo Stelar, who transforms into Mega Man through a process called EM Wave Change with the wave lifeform Omega-Xis. Together, they confront a variety of incidents occurring in the Wave World.
Battles take place on a 3×5 grid, where players move their character in real time while using battle cards to attack and defend, resulting in fast-paced and strategic combat. By collecting a wide variety of cards and building custom decks, players can develop diverse strategies and tactics.
Another defining feature of the series is its gameplay that alternates between exploration in the real world and adventures in the Wave World. As the story unfolds, players meet memorable characters, battle powerful enemies, collect cards, and strengthen their abilities along the way.

This collection introduces a variety of convenient new features that further expand and enrich the gameplay.
■ High-Resolution Filter
A high-resolution filter is included to deliver smoother visuals. Players can freely toggle the filter, choosing between enhanced high-resolution visuals or an experience closer to the original look.
■ Assist Features & Difficulty Options
From combat-related settings such as increased Mega Buster power and reduced damage taken, to field options like movement speed and enemy encounter rates, a wide range of parameters can be adjusted. These features make the game more accessible for players who may be less comfortable with action gameplay, or for those who prefer to focus on the story.
■ Special Bonus Cards
The collection also includes many bonus cards that were originally only obtainable through events or physical toys. By combining them with cards acquired through normal gameplay, players can create even more diverse and powerful decks.
Note: Some bonus cards are not included.
■ Art Gallery & Music Player
An extensive gallery featuring over 1,000 illustrations is included, showcasing package artwork, official illustrations, and rare concept art. Players can fully immerse themselves in the world of Mega Man Star Force. In addition, the music player includes BGM from all three numbered titles, as well as newly arranged tracks created specifically for this collection. These new arrangements can also be selected as in-game background music!
■ Robust Online Features
In addition to save data management and deck editing for each title, the collection offers significantly enhanced online functionality. For online battles, players can search for opponents across multiple titles at once, enabling smoother matchmaking. Battle modes include Casual Matches, where players using the same title can jump in easily, and Ranked Matches, where players compete for rank points and test their skills.
Rental decks are also available, allowing newcomers to enjoy online play with confidence. Players can also create custom rooms to battle friends using their favorite titles, and take advantage of a card trading feature that allows exchanges with players around the world.
The series’ signature Brother Band system has also been greatly expanded. While the original versions allowed up to six Brothers per title, this collection increases the limit to up to 100 Brothers per numbered title. Brother relationships can be changed at any time, and players can even form a Brother Band immediately after an online battle.
Meet That Iconic “NetNavi” Once Again!
Connectivity features that originally utilized the Nintendo DS system’s dual-slot functionality have been recreated for modern platforms. Special events that were unlocked by linking specific titles are also fully implemented, allowing players to enjoy them once again in this collection.
Sonia Strumm & Luna Platz DLC now available!
Starting today, DLC characters Sonia Strumm and Luna Platz are also available where players can set these character models in the main menu.
