Demo Out Now For Roughly Crafted!
[p]Hey everyone![/p][p][/p][p]I’m Vlad from Possum Riot. We are a small indie team of just 2 people and currently we are working on Roughly Crafted.[/p][p][/p][p]We’ve just released the demo and we’re really excited to finally let people play it.[/p][p][/p][p]![]()
[/p][p]Roughly Crafted is a laid-back, humorous crafting sim in which you inherit your grandad’s old workshop, where weapons are crafted not just from wood and metal, but also from monster eyes, fish bones, deer hooves, and other odd materials. Each part has unique traits, and your challenge is to design custom weapons from them to satisfy the needs of peculiar customers. Fulfill orders, earn money, build your reputation, and unlock new crafting parts to create even stranger weapons for increasingly demanding clients.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Right now, this is very much an Early Demo. It’s still rough around the edges, missing content and features, and there are definitely some bugs and QoL issues we want to improve. [/p][p]We’re planning to keep updating it over time, with your feedback helping us shape the full game, expand it with more content, and release it in the late 2026.[/p][p]In particular we want to:[/p]
- [p]Fix QoL issues and bugs, polish the crafting system and improve its UX[/p]
- [p]Add more crafting content, new blueprints, joints and materials from ordinary to bizarre[/p]
- [p]Introduce more clients of different ages, genders, and fantasy races[/p]
- [p]Add more types of orders, including blueprint and material combinations, limited budgets, and other special requirements[/p]
- [p]Make deeper upgrade systems and meta-progression, including ideas like a skill tree and quest book[/p]
- [p]Integrate Twitch so viewers can send in their own orders for the streamer to fulfil[/p]
- [p]And more ideas to come. We'd love your help finding them ✨[/p]
