Getting physical in RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business!

Unfinished Business is built on the foundations of Rogue City, but returning for the standalone follow-up lets us build on the fantasy of being RoboCop in new and exciting ways. Through story and gameplay, we want you to feel like you’re welded into that powerful metal suit and have the power to match. That’s why we’ve made a few upgrades to give you more tools as you ascend the OmniTower.

Remember how I talked about being welded into the metal suit? I was being facetious, but metaphorically speaking, a lot of you did step into that role, lifting punks into the air and letting gravity or the environment do the rest of the job. We’ve expanded on that in Unfinished Business by adding a suite of powerful finishing moves: leave someone shocked by planting them in a fuse box, or keep them hydrated by crushing them in the nearest soda machine. There are a lot of unique interactions to be discovered, and we can’t wait to see your favorites.



There are also new tools to up your firepower. The Cryo Cannon is an absolute powerhouse, one that turns on the tundra, and when you shout freeze, you mean it. Be careful to avoid shattering your new ice sculptures, or don’t, we’re not your boss.

You can also make use of the tools that the enemies brought to the party, Riot Shields, Katanas, mounted guns, if it’s there, it’s up for grabs. These mercs are armed to the teeth and anything you find is free to use. If the enemy is going to turn the OmniTower into a fortress, then do what needs to be done to make your way to the top.



There’ll also be gameplay sections taking place outside the tower. These vignettes reveal more about the story, with unique premises and goals. In one, you’ll be playing as Alex Murphy back during his days as a cop on the beat. With only your sense of justice as a shield, you’ll find the gameplay during these sections more focused on dipping in and out of cover, picking the right moment to make your shots. There are several other unique scenes to be discovered throughout your climb through the OmniTower.
