Face new foes and scale the OmniTower on July 17th

Looming in the distance, the silhouette of the OmniTower watches over Old Detroit. A beacon of the future that OCP envisions, Delta City, a safe, harmonious city overseen by OCP and its subdivisions. A haven protected by ED-209s, RoboCop, and the Detroit Police Department.[/p][p]The OmniTower is the first part of that plan, a housing complex designed to house the residents of Old Detroit during redevelopment, but that vision of a ‘perfect’ future for Delta City is under threat. The OmniTower has been sieged by a group of highly trained mercenaries looking to take control of OCP’s technology and use it for their own goals.[/p][p]That includes RoboCop, and that’s going to be a problem. Following an attack on the Metro West Precinct, RoboCop makes his way to the OmniTower to find that it’s been turned into a fortress, a mix of traps, turrets, and troops designed to keep RoboCop and everyone else at arm’s length.

[/p][p]Flying drones rain bullets down from above, reducing options for cover in open spaces, while other drones act more like mines, waiting for someone to walk past before springing to life and running them down with explosive results. Thank God for the Kevlar laminated into that titanium; you’re going to need it.[/p][p]Especially when the bullets start flying, these mercenaries are kitted out to the teeth, and they’re the shoot first, then shoot again type. Avoid the spray and pray of miniguns, the sub-zero temperatures of the Cryo Cannon, and then take these weapons, turning them against your enemies. Or just keep exclusively using the Auto-9 (we know you’re going to).

[/p][p]We’ve also had reports of men with jetpacks, and some metallic psychopaths running around carrying katanas. We’ve checked the OCP records but have no information on these assailants. To deal with these unknown threats, ED-209 usage has been authorized.
Well, authorized is a loose word, but it was enough for Miranda Hale, who managed to hack into the control systems for the ED-209. Enforce order with an arsenal of automatic cannons, shotguns, and rocket launchers. After all, it’s easy to keep peace when you leave your enemies in pieces.
