We’re excited to announce that Secret Seeker will take part in the next Steam Next Fest. Starting June 6, 2025, players will be able to download and play a special demo version of the game. The demo will remain available throughout the entire Steam Next Fest, from June 9 to 16.

The demo includes all core gameplay mechanics featured in the full release, with access to three fully playable levels. There is no time limit – play at your own pace, explore every shadow, and uncover as many secrets as you dare.

If you're drawn to dark mysteries, strange objects, and fast-paced roguelite gameplay, this is your chance to dive in early.

The world of Secret Seeker is expanding. The dimensions are shifting, and you're no longer alone out there...

[h3]New Enemy Mechanic: Dimensional Guards[/h3]



From now on, you may encounter Guards patrolling the dimensions in search of intruders. If they spot you, you have two choices: fight or hide. Waiting them out can be a safe option—but only if you’re well hidden. Be careful: if they catch you, it’s over. You’ll have to start the run from the beginning.



To help you survive, we’ve added a brand-new item to the shop: the Invisibility Cloak. Use it to become completely undetectable to the Guards—for a limited time.

[h3]Puzzles and Dark Stories[/h3]



Every level in Secret Seeker hides a deeper truth. Expect a variety of puzzles that test your logic, reflexes, observation, and sometimes—everything at once. The further you go, the more twisted the mysteries become.

• We’ve added a tutorial system based on interactive kiosks scattered throughout the HUB.
  
• You can now skip dialogues.
  
• Tooltips have been added when hovering over key UI elements.
  
• We’ve rebuilt the item preview system to work correctly.
  
• Minor rebalance of usable items.

• Fixed visible object LODs overlapping.
  
• Removed a critical bug that caused the game to freeze when pressing ESC in the item preview screen.
  
• Perks and usable items now display the correct descriptions.
  
• Fixed many minor bugs.
  

We're working on new mechanics that will completely change the gameplay! Your feedback on the gameplay experience has been invaluable. To meet your expectations, we’ve decided to introduce the following features:


[h3]Wraith Guards[/h3]
Powerful enemies are coming soon - eerie guardians patrolling dimensions, making sure no one is where they shouldn’t be. Guardians will appear randomly in levels and patrol the area. To avoid them, you’ll have two options:

1. Stealth: Hide and sneak past them unnoticed until they leave the dimension.
   
2. Combat: Try to defeat them in battle - but it’s risky and will draw attention.
   

[h3]Secrets & Puzzles[/h3]
Every level will hide a secret waiting to be discovered. These will be multi-step puzzles that require attention and clever thinking. Solving them will earn you valuable rewards to help in future runs!
