Ire: A Prologue – Patch Notes 1.1

[p][/p][p]Hello all you Bermuda Triangle Dreamers. We've got a patch to the game about to be released, and thanks to all of your comments and feedback, YOU'VE helped make our game better! THANK YOU. [/p][p] [/p][p]Monster AI Improvements (Scribbles Behaviors) [/p][p]You've pointed out Scribbles sometimes gets stuck on things or won't leave your hiding spot. Did you know we called him Scribbles internally during development? His full name was "Scribbles Destroyer of Worlds". But anyway, yeah, we found some bugs in his behaviors. He should be better about that stuff now. [/p][p] [/p][p][/p][p]Audio Clarity & Sound Distance Tweaks [/p][p]You've also mentioned it can be hard to tell where he is just by his sounds because sometimes you can hear him from a different floor. We looked into that too, and dialed in some of our audio distances to make that more clear. [/p][p] [/p][p][/p][p]Emily Hint VO Fixes [/p][p]We've seen a lot of streams of Emily in a hiding spot telling players they gotta keep moving or they'll die. Yeah. That annoyed us too. But we found that bug and squashed it! [/p][p] [/p][p][/p][p]Door 9 Adjustments (Yes… We Know.) [/p][p]And finally, let's talk about the elephant in the room. Door 9. We know. We know. Not only that… The numbers have spoken very clearly. [/p][p] [/p][p][/p][p]If you've already beaten Door 9, you can hold it over your friends that play after the patch, because they're gonna have an easier time. Not only have we moved the engine parts to make them more obvious, but we also added a hiding locker to the Engine Room. [/p][p][/p][p]You'll be able to say: [/p][p]"I finished Door 9 when the straight pipe was in Storage 1. When Door 9 was a REAL challenge." [/p][p]And you can sleep like a baby at night because you rose to that challenge, my friends. [/p][p] [/p]
Final Notes & Speedrun Challenge
[p]In the meantime, enjoy the 1.1 patch and see if you can finish the game faster than our boy Matt's 55 minute completion time! [/p]
