v0.21.0 - Mothership Debris, Faraday's Turret

[p]v0.21.0 is released![/p][p][/p][p]The mothership will now drop 'Debris', allowing you to construct the final bomb.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]The conditions to finish the game have been reduced for the demo. The game is balanced for the full version, but because content like islands and perks are restricted in the demo, it was not easy to acquire Cores and Artifacts, so the final bomb's build requirements have been lowered.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]The Faraday's turret's bullet VFX have been improved.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Accurate notifications have been added when you damage the mothership.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Biolab[/h2][p]The biolab is now cheaper and costs meat instead.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Islands Playtest[/h2][p]I have opened a private playtest for a small minority of dedicated players, and also made improvements to the full version. Mothership Shield

[p]The mothership shield update was released a bit ago in v0.18.0, but I forgot to push the patch notes so here it is![/p][p]The mothership now deploys a shield at 1 HP, and can only be destroyed by The Last Fuse, the final bomb tier that will arrive in the Islands Update. [/p][p]A few improvements have been made to the underwater biome.

v0.20.1 - Nautilus improvement + Fixes

[p]Hi all,[/p][p][/p][p]v0.20.1 has been released![/p][p][/p][p]I received feedback that the Nautilus was hard to unlock - as it is a key building for progression, unlocking the underwater region, fishing huts and Biolab, I decided to make the Nautilus card appear as the first building card to unlock, and also appear at 100% chance when you launch a bomb, if it hasn't been unlocked.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]I also fixed the game crashing when the bomb is launched. Sorry for the trouble![/p][p][/p][p]Full changelog:[/p]

v0.20 - Biolabs, Fishing Huts, Farms!

[p]v0.20 is released![/p][p][/p][h2]New Food Buildings[/h2][p][/p][p]Your citizens now need food. The biolab has been added. Aliens now drop alien meat and can be cooked in Biolabs.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]​[/p][p]Farms have been added - they produce your most basic food.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]​[/p][p]Fishing Huts are a new secondary food source when you venture underwater.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]​[/p][h3]What does food do?[/h3][p][/p][p][/p][p]​​[/p][p]It refills your citizens' hunger. But getting more food variety will provide productivity bonuses.[/p][p][/p][h3]​Future content[/h3][p]​For the food system specifically, I was thinking of adding a final food type 'Teriyaki', that requires all previous foods to be cooked in a Cookhouse.[/p][p]These can be fed or used to build nurseries, which give you population growth, without needing to build more houses late-game.[/p][p][/p][h2]Ending changes[/h2][p]This updates adds significant changes to the game after the first bomb launch. When the game was released, it ends after the first bomb launch. Then endless mode came and as post-endgame content constantly got added, the game now ends much later. Therefore 'endless mode' is now the default, and the game endings have been moved back to the destruction of the mothership.[/p][p][/p][h2]Perks and Islands coming soon![/h2][p]For those of you who want more content, I will be releasing exclusive content in the full version of the game this Sunday on itch.io, so stay tuned![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]V0.20 Full Changelog:[/p]
