Moderate Patch 1.1.300

[p]I've spent some time the past couple of days taking a look at how the game performs across different systems. Specifically HIGHER fps systems were having inconsistent physics and I wasn't satisfied with that. So I've hit the game with the CONSISTENT PHYSICS ACROSS FRAMERATES hammer, and added some options for players to fine tune things themselves.[/p][p]All users should see some minor performance improvements as well, specifically less sprite jittering when you're moving around or falling. [/p][p]By default the game has vsync enabled and does not cap fps, but feel free to fiddle with the new options to see what works best for your system.[/p][p]Cheers, and happy climbing![/p][p]aeiou[/p][p]
Patch Notes:[/p]
  • [p]"Cap FPS at 60" and "Vsync" buttons have been added to both options menus[/p]
  • [p]You can no longer open the credits page after selecting start game[/p]
  • [p]Various physics objects and timers now behave the same regardless of framerate (scarf, trail behind the player, fall timer)[/p]
  • [p]Physics are now interpolated, so there should be less or no jitter of sprites at higher frame rates[/p]
