Nominate Unreal Zombies for the Steam Awards!

Hi everyone,

The annual Steam Awards for 2025 is here!

As we are currently working on the new update for the game, we’d be extremely honored if you consider voting for Unreal Zombies in the “Most Innovative Gameplay” category.

We really appreciate your support on the game recently, and voting on the game would be so awesome!

Unreal Zombies - Patch 1 - Update

An update has been released for Unreal Zombies.

Before we begin, a huge thank you to those you got the game. I think the game's launch was a lot better than the original version of this game. Expect more updates coming within the next few weeks. Once again, thank you :3

Note: The following patch notes will contain some spoilers to the game!

[h2]What's new[/h2]
  • Added 7 new achievements (more to come).
  • Added interactable icons to most interactable items.
  • Added a push animation to the regular zombies.
  • Added new zombie spawn areas in House of the Dead.
  • The fast zombie (A.K.A Speed Unreal) can now be pushed.


[h2]Gameplay[/h2]
  • Adjust the zombies behavior AI.
  • Adjust the spawn rate in all difficulties.
  • Adjust the push mechanic to be more responsive.
  • Adjust the player movement to be slightly more faster when in midair.
  • Adjust the final sequence in almost all of the maps to make the gameplay less overwhelming.
  • You now MUST have to kill TONK in order to progress through map/wave.


[h2]Bug fixes[/h2]
  • Fixed an issue in Backyard Battleground where you were able to leave the map.
  • Fixed an issue in Ocean where you were able to leave the map.

Unreal Zombies - Update

An update has been released for Unreal Zombies.

-Changed the button icons in the game over screen.
-Fixed an issue where the controller would not respond in the game over screen.
-Changed the hint icon to have an up-to-date version of the game's UI style.
-Changed a hint pop up behavior in House of the Dead to also appear when you have Self Nuke near a breakable rock.
-Changed the final sequence in House of the Dead so now you are required to open the garage to fill up gas to the car.
-Fixed an issue in The Maze where after completing the level, it would already take you to the end of act 1 screen.
-Added a glow to a breakable rock in Underground after you picked up the explosive device.
-Fixed an issue in Ocean where you weren't able to go through a door way.
