NEW RELEASE DATE OCTOBER 24, 2025

I have great news, Bleak Haven will now be released on October 24, just in time for the Halloween weekend! 🎃[/p][p][/p][p]This means the game will be available a few days earlier than planned, and you’ll be able to dive into the full experience sooner.

RELEASE DATE REVEAL AND NEW TRAILER

The journey begins October 27th, just in time for the season of screams.[/p][p][/p][p]Tyler’s search for his missing brother leads him somewhere far worse than death, to a place that remembers everything you’ve tried to forget.[/p][p][/p][p]And if you haven’t braved the island yet, the Bleak Haven demo will remain available until the end of Steam Next Fest 2025.

DEMO UPDATE #4 | HEAVY ATTACKS, WEAPON IMPROVEMENTS, AND MORE...

[p]Thank you once again for all your feedback and reports. I’m continuing to refine the game based on everything you share.[/p][p][/p][p]Here are the fixes and tweaks included in Update #4:[/p][p][/p][p]Patch Notes – Fixes & Improvements:[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Added new charged/heavy attacks: by holding the attack button, you’ll perform a powerful strike dealing 50% more damage than the base damage of the equipped melee weapon.[/p]
  • [p]Firearms now deal significantly more damage, making them far more effective than melee weapons in most situations.[/p]
  • [p]Reduced camera bob while attacking, walking, and running to make gameplay smoother and reduce visual distraction.[/p]
  • [p]The red cross marker and collectible items on the shore will now always remain in place, even after loading from a checkpoint ensuring they no longer block the path upward.[/p]
  • [p]Completely disabled motion blur.[/p]
  • [p]Various smaller tweaks and optimizations to improve overall gameplay feel.[/p]

DEMO UPDATE #3 | PERFORMANCE FIXES, ENEMY AI IMPROVEMENTS AND MORE...

[p]Thank you once again for another feedback and reports.[/p][p][/p][p]I am continuing to improve the game based on everything you share.[/p][p][/p][p]Here are the fixes and tweaks included in Update #3:[/p][p][/p][p]Patch Notes – Fixes & Improvements:[/p]
  • [p]Eliminated all stutters, freezes, and FPS drops that occurred when enemies spawned or during level loading and other specific situations.[/p]
  • [p]Improved enemy AI behavior. Previously, even when standing very close, some enemies would circle around you instead of attacking... they now engage properly at close range.[/p]
  • [p]Enemies will no longer always get back up after being knocked down. Some may now stay down and die, while others will get up more slowly, giving you a better chance to finish them off.[/p]
  • [p]Removed the dynamic camera rotation when moving the mouse left and right, as it caused motion sickness for some players.[/p]

[p]Thank you again for all the incredible feedback, here’s what’s new in Update #2!
[/p][p]Every small bug report helps make the game better. I’ve been working hard behind the scenes to fix what I can as quickly as possible, and here’s what changed:[/p][p][/p][p]Patch Notes – Fixes & Improvements:[/p]
  • [p]Finally found a way to fix the strange facial animations during cutscenes. Characters should now look much more natural and less... terrifying (unless intended).[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where performing finishers could sometimes lock the player in place and freeze movement.[/p]
  • [p]Improved collision in multiple areas to reduce stuck spots and strange movement glitches.[/p]
  • [p]Various smaller tweaks and polish to help make gameplay feel smoother overall.[/p]
