  • [p]We haven’t implemented automated and incremental single-player saves yet. [/p]
    [p]Your offline single-player world state won’t carry over after the patch. If you have a game in progress, you may want to finish it before patching.[/p]
  • [p]Public games creations have been disabled. [/p]
    [p]You can still create private worlds and have your friends joining you![/p]

    • [p]Hardcore characters are segregated from non-hardcore characters in multiplayer[/p]
  • [p]Renamed difficulty levels, set default difficulty to “Journeyman”[/p]
    • [p]Heroes now start with a flask on “Peasy” and “Journeyman” difficulties[/p]
    • [p]Decreased enemy damage in “Peasy” and “Journeyman” difficulties[/p]
    • [p]Necropolis growth is slowed for “Peasy”, “Journeyman”, and “Normal” difficulties[/p]
  • [p]Reduced the cooldown and increased the healing rate for all flasks[/p]
    • [p]Known issue: these benefits do not apply to flasks acquired prior to the patch[/p]
  • [p]Hero’s mana is restored on respawn[/p]

  • [p]Fixed an issue where skills for level 8 characters were being reset to level 1[/p]
  • [p]Increased skill cap from 7 to 9[/p]
  • [p]Decreased the amount of terrain damage done by Spine Breaker[/p]
  • [p]Blood Lash > Red Embrace now has a 50% chance to entangle (instead of 100%)[/p]

  • [p]Adjusted bloom and fog settings in many overworld areas and dungeons[/p]
  • [p]Crypts can now randomly be foggy or not[/p]
  • [p]Improved various textures, optimized geometry for various objects[/p]

  • [p]Allow jumping while entangled when in water or air[/p]
  • [p]Improved the ability for the character to navigate rough terrain[/p]

  • [p]Unified controller camera controls for gameplay / map / build modes[/p]

[h3][/h3][h3]Dungeons[/h3]
  • [p]Added first-pass “endless” dungeon after Narlathak[/p]
    • [p]After killing Narlathak, the “Endless Lair” spawns in a random sector[/p]
    • [p]This is a multi-level dungeon that goes down to level 100[/p]
    • [p]Note: this is only partially implemented:[/p]
      • [p]There is currently no mechanism for resetting it, so if you want to try again, you’ll need to create a new world.[/p]
      • [p]It does not currently boot you out of the dungeon on death as intended[/p]
  • [p]Teleport back to the entrance of a dungeon (from within a dungeon) by clicking on it in the full map[/p]
  • [p]Teleport back to the entrance of any dungeon you’ve entered (from the overworld) by clicking on it in the full map[/p]
  • [p]Bogie dungeon no longer closes unless champion Tyrant is slain[/p]
  • [p]Added a signpost explaining shift-click to attack in place / destroy walls in crypts[/p]
[p][/p][h3]Mobs / AI[/h3]
  • [p]Mobs now have reduced aggro and follow ranges vs. players > 3 levels higher[/p]
  • [p]Removed strata damage from Disgraced Paladin[/p]
[p][/p][h3]Online / Server[/h3]
  • [p]Temporarily removed public game functionality[/p]
  • [p]Restored the ability to name worlds[/p]
  • [p]Add the last world player visited to the world list (even if private)[/p]
  • [p]Added an intermittent character save in online games[/p]
[p][/p][h3]Misc[/h3]
  • [p]Runes and Runeword items no longer despawn on regular depopulate[/p]
  • [p]Fixed various typos[/p]
  • [p]Game now properly reports what monster killed you when you’re killed by a projectile or status effect[/p]
    • [p]Known issue: environmental deaths are not correctly attributed[/p]
