The launch didn't go as expected (3000 wishlists, 14 sales). Here's what's next.
[p]Hey everyone,[/p][p]I'm the solo dev behind Monster Mayhem, a cartoon-style roguelike survivor-like that just launched on Steam.[/p][p][/p][p]Before release, I had around 3,000 wishlists and worked hard on the page, trailer, and game itself. But after launch... only 14 sales and 0 reviews in the first 24 hours. It honestly hurt. I know it's hard to get visibility as an indie, but I was hoping for more.[/p][p][/p][p]I'm not writing this to complain, I just want to be honest about the reality many solo devs face. And also to let you know: I'm not giving up.[/p][p][/p][p]I’ll keep updating the game, improving the experience, and trying to understand what went wrong and what can be better. If you're one of the few people who bought the game: THANK YOU 🙏 You're early supporters and I genuinely want your feedback.[/p][p][/p][p]If you're just discovering this now and are curious, I'd love to hear what you think. The price is low, the game is short and intense, and I made it with love (and lots of stress).[/p][p][/p][p]Let me know:[/p][p]- What do you think of the trailer / screenshots?[/p][p]- What would convince you to try it?[/p][p]- Or if you played it: what should I improve first?[/p][p][/p][p]Thanks for reading. I’m still here, and I’m listening.[/p][p]Lunarhellgames[/p]
