[p]Football is an unpredictable game, where moments and opportunities define seasons. In NUTMEG!, your actions not only influence these opportunities but create new ones in the form of perks and challenges. [/p][p] [/p][p]Perks [/p][p] [/p][p]There are two types of perks that you receive in NUTMEG! - Club Culture perks and Managerial perks. Club Culture perks are based on how a particular club plays – such as extra defensive training buffs or selling more team shirts due to popularity. A team may have up to three Club Culture perks, plus your Managerial ones. Think of these as passive buffs that can aid your side through the season. [/p][p] [/p][p]Managerial perks are earned by completing tasks towards the end of a season. These season-impacting perks remain unlocked throughout your managerial reign, regardless of the team you’re leading. However, only one perk can be active per season. Once you’ve unlocked ten or more perks, a pool of ten perks will be chosen at random, of which you pick one for the season. Managerial perks include an immediate cash injection, a boost to fan sentiment, and even getting a random free transfer! [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Challenges [/p][p] [/p][p]At the start of every season, you will be set a challenge. Completing this challenge rewards you with extra KIT – the currency of NUTMEG! - allowing you to unlock more teams to potentially jump ship to between each season. [/p][p] [/p][p]These challenges range from avoiding relegation to navigating difficult setbacks – such as a board of directors who are particularly hard to please, or your players being easily rattled by the opposition and committing more fouls. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Football is a game of two halves - challenges can put a spanner in the works, but if you can mitigate them and excel in your targets to gain additional perks, your life as a gaffer will become much, much easier. [/p][p] [/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink]   [/p][p]Want to be In The Know?
