From all of us, thank you as always for your continued feedback across the Galaxy of Elite Dangerous.

One of the reasons we're so grateful for your thoughts, is because it allows us as teams across the board to help better your experience in a multitude of ways, one of which being the provision of interim updates in response to 'Quality of Life' improvements in game.

With that in mind, we're happy to announce a forthcoming update for you in the form of 15.02.

Release Schedule.
The update will be taking place on Monday June 5th.

Server downtime for Elite Dangerous Live/4.0 servers only will take place from 08:00AM BST until approximately 11:00AM BST, when they will return online with the update deployed and available to you.

Additional Information.
On the morning of the deployment, the update notes for 15.02 will be made available to you in a standalone post.

The team have spent the last week reviewing and investigating and we're happy to announce that a further update is to be released tomorrow, May 18, in the form of 15.01.

The update will be available following routine server maintenance tomorrow, May 18.

Routine server maintenance downtime for Elite Dangerous Live/4.0 will be EXTENDED in order to accommodate 15.01 until approximately 11:00am BST, when the servers will be back online with the update deployed and available.

Elite Dangerous finally lets its players inside its mysterious Thargoid Maelstrom clouds today thanks to the arrival of Update 15, but having now seen what's waiting inside thee huge gas giants, you know what? The Thargoids can keep this corner of the galaxy. I'm getting the hell out, because I do not have the space legs to tackle the enormous nasties lurking at the centre of them. Update 15 is almost upon us.

The Elite Dangerous 'Live/4.0' Servers are now offline, ready to welcome in newness to the Galaxy.

Features of Note

• A new mission to restore power to settlements and retrieve data from within Thargoid-controlled territory has been added. This new mission can be found at mission boards in systems in the Alert or Invasion states.
  
• The Thargoid Pulse Neutraliser module has been added to Outfitting and Tech Broker at all rescue ships. Commanders who are entitled to one of these modules for their efforts and prior investigations can find theirs stored at the Orunmilla megaship.
  
• The Revenant seeks you...Take caution when investigating Thargoid controlled territory at abandoned settlements...
