[h2]✨ What’s New[/h2]

•  RGA (Romanian Games Awards) Nomination — May 9, 2025
  Drunkonauts has been nominated for Best Upcoming Romanian Game at the Romanian Game Awards! Together with Nebula Developers Lab, we’ll be attending the gala on June 3rd. You can also catch part of the ECS team at Dev.Play on June 2–3.

• Top community notes so far:
  • "Lighting felt flat across maps"-> New lighting setups + better shadows on all maps
  • “Hard to hear when I fall off the map” -> Fall sounds are now in place (gravity has a voice!)
  • “Maps are too silent” -> Ambient VFXs and audio added for more atmosphere
  • "Jetpack felt off sometimes”-> Thrust logic refined for smoother, more consistent behavior

[h2]🔨 What We’re Building Next[/h2]

• Progress on the Official Steam Demo
  • Balancing punch cooldown for both keyboard and controller
  • Making it harder to knock down yourself (unless that’s your thing)
  • Astronauts now stand more upright (less awkward crouching)
  • Fix for jetpack not working after first death

• Public early demo launched on Itch — April 25 2025
  Test-fly the jetpacks, throw around bottles of beer and hit your friends with crazy space weapons
  
• Top community notes so far
  "No visible indicator for the jetpack's cooldown" → Jetpack cooldown meter
  "Hard to grab knocked down enemies" → Easier grab on rag-dolled foes
  "Knock down timer increases too drastically"→ A timer more balanced for more “down but not out” moments

• Late June 2025 — Official Steam Demo
  • All the features from the early demo — enhanced
    
  • More customization options — hats, jetpacks, accessories, you name it!
    
  • Smoother onboarding — create or join lobbies to easily play with your friends
