[h3]Time for our first update!![/h3][p]Hey everyone![/p][p]Time for our very first update — and we’re excited to finally share some behind-the-scenes progress with you all! From now on, we’ll be posting more regularly to keep you in the loop with what’s cooking over at the Fire Foot offices.[/p][p]Please keep in mind: everything you see here is still a work-in-progress and might change by the time we launch![/p][p][/p][h3]Map Design / Layout[/h3][p]Level design is a huge part of what makes our game tick, and we've been pouring a lot of time into building a map that’s not just functional — but also fun and full of variety.[/p][p]Think creepy corridors, mysterious rooms, and hidden nooks waiting to be explored. Here's a little peek at some of the areas we've been crafting![/p][p][/p][h3]Puzzles[/h3][p]To shake up the core gameplay, we’ve been experimenting with light puzzle mechanics — adding a fresh twist without slowing things down.[/p][p]Right now, they're still floating in a gloomy gray box world, but eventually, you'll find them cleverly tucked away inside the cursed castle...[/p][p][/p][p]A stepping sequence puzzle![/p][p][/p][p]A 'put these glowing stone objects in the right order' puzzle! [/p][p][/p][h3]Skill games[/h3][p]We call them "skill games," but you can think of them as fast-paced, mini lockpicking challenges. These little trials keep things tense and test your reflexes in short bursts.[/p][p][/p][p]Quick time event - Nail the timing to unlock![/p][p][/p][p]Follow the zone - Stay in the sweet spot![/p][p][/p][p]Right order - Hit the correct sequence to succeed![/p][p][/p][h3]Lobby chat & Steam setup[/h3][p]We've also been making progress on multiplayer features! [p]Getting into matches together - fast and smooth[/p]
