Hello dudes and dudettes,



Sorry for the radio silence, we had our reasons… and, well, they weren’t great.

It’s with heavy heart-bits that we announce Heartbit Interactive is shutting down.

We can’t stress this enough: we made it this far thanks to you, our players, friends, supporters and colleagues! You’ve cheered us on with love and devotion (the Flying Spaghetti Monster is most pleased for that). Sadly, due to economic reasons, we’re no longer able to sustain the development of new games, and we’ve had to make the tough decision to close Heartbit Interactive.

But don’t worry, this isn’t a game over. Our existing games will remain available, and we’ll continue supporting them and responding to your questions for as long as our aging bodies and frail memories allow.

You might notice different names listed as the publisher in some stores, Heartbit Games, Heartbit Interactive Games, Francesco Ficarelli, or Matteo Nicolotti, but it’s still us behind the curtain.

Thank you for every download, every message, every laugh. It’s been an incredible journey.

Added Keyboard and Gamepad customization options.

Just a few important fixes:

- Fixed out of memory crash if game was paused for a long time during a battle with particle effects
- Now the particle generators will correctly pause if the battle is paused
- Nigel's Shirt will correctly appear in the handbooks unlocks (thanks ilya0smirnov0)

We can't believe it, but 10 years ago, on August 26, 2011, Doom & Destiny was released for the very first time on XBox 360 ːfsmː

This means two things: first, the we are getting OLD ːFrancisAdvː, second, that we wanted to celebrate with you that achievement ːPizzaAdvː

And what better way to celebrate than having a big-ass party with as many people as possible ːmybeerː ːmypizzaː ːmybeerː

That's why we want to let everyone enjoy for free, even if only for a weekend, Doom & Destiny and Doom & Destiny Advanced here on Steam!

But celebrations don't end here. Today marks another important achievement for us:
Doom & Destiny WORLDS, the third chapter of the Doom & Destiny series,
is releasing on Nintendo Switch ːfsmː

We are incredibly exited to have all our games on the Nintendo Switch, especially considering all the hard work we put into polishing the game for a console release.
Also, the Doom & Destiny series is a blast to be played on a handheld device and we can't wait to run it on the Steam Deck too ːNigelAdvː
