[p][/p][p]In preparation for Steam Next Fest on Monday, we’ve expanded the demo of Star Ores Inc.[/p][p] [/p][p]🚀 Demo Update – What’s New?[/p][p]The new demo of Star Ores Inc. is here – featuring fresh content, improvements, and a touch of galactic automation! Here’s what’s waiting for you:[/p][p] [/p][p]🔧 Upgrades[/p][p]Buildings and Erfis now collect Tech Points (TP), which you can invest to unlock targeted upgrades. This lets you customize and optimize your station even further.[/p][p][/p][p]🔗 Transportation System[/p][p]The new transportation system allows you to connect buildings and automatically transfer minerals from one to another.[/p][p][/p][p]🏪 Sales Storage[/p][p]The sales room now includes a central storage area where you can stockpile products until you’re ready to sell them. Erfis no longer toss minerals directly into the sales room, they now store them properly.[/p][p] [/p][p]🤖 Erfi Roles[/p][p]Erfis can now be assigned specific tasks:[/p]

• [p]Handle sales[/p]
• [p]Transport minerals to storage[/p]
• [p]Destroy small rocks[/p]

• [p]Refill machines like the Smelt-O-Tron with minerals[/p]

It’s significantly more valuable than regular ore and can be sold for a higher price.[/p][p] [/p][p]🪴 Decorate Your Station[/p][p]You can now unlock and build decorations to beautify your station and mine and they offer additional effects too.[/p][p] [/p][p]💾 Save Your Progress[/p][p]You can now save your game!
Up to three save slots are available in the demo.[/p][p] [/p][p]🤖 More Robots[/p][p]Discover and repair new helpers to assist with transporting materials.[/p][p] [/p][p]💥 Improved Mining[/p][p]Many of you felt the mining was too monotonous. That’s why we’ve upgraded the system with the following:[/p]

• [p]Weak spots on rocks that speed up mining[/p]
• [p]No more holding down the laser button[/p]
• [p]Progress is no longer reset when interrupted (only slowed down for minerals)[/p]

[p] [/p][p]⚙️ Additional Improvements[/p][p]Alongside the major changes, we’ve added some quality-of-life updates:[/p]

• [p]Jumping, running, crawling are now possible[/p]
• [p]XP system reworked with more ways to earn XP[/p]
• [p]Partial deliveries are rewarded that means you’ll earn money if you can at least complete one of the requests[/p]
