Gamblers Table News

Demo release date, 30k club and new features

[p]Great news! We have been hard at work on the upcoming steam demo and it even has a release date! We will launch the demo next week on the 23rd of July![/p][p]If you have played the prototype version on itch you might wonder what is going to be different in the Steam Demo. We actually overhauled it quite a lot:[/p]
  • [p]The balancing has been dramatically improved[/p]
  • [p]New prestige mechanic and a talent tree[/p]
  • [p]9 unlockable talent points that have a significant impact on the gameplay[/p]
  • [p]Achievements (only in-game, we will have proper Steam achievements in the full game)[/p]
  • [p]New upgrades[/p]
  • [p]New sprites, icons and animations[/p]
  • [p]A bunch of crazy hats for the helpers[/p]
  • [p]More languages! We support 15 languages now; this wouldn’t have been possible without the help of our amazing discord community, thank you all so much! If anyone finds an error in the localization, please let us know[/p]
  • [p]Controller support[/p]
  • [p]Steamdeck support[/p]
  • [p]Twitch integration (You can have the helpers be named like people in your twitch chat and spout random chat messages)[/p]
  • [p]Customizable table cloth[/p]
[p][/p][p]Next some good news, that probably nobody besides us devs cares about haha: We made it to 30k Wishlists and are moving steadily towards 40k! Thank you all for following us and contributing so much to the development of the game! We are going to run out of coin rain GIFs soon :D[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]And finally, let me share some visuals of new features:[/p][p]As I mentioned above, you can now customize your table cloth, Greenpixels recorded a short video explaining the feature. We have already seen some really fun community designs in our discord![/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p][p]This is the first glimpse at the underlying lore of the game, it’s the animation that plays when players reset the game to start a new prestige run[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]And here are two GIFs of upcoming mechanics (they are still “work in progress” and won’t be in the demo though), nothing out of the ordinary, just what you would expect from a game about flipping coins:[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]And as always, if you want to particiapte in the development of Gamblers Table, join our discord and let us know your ideas or just hang out and chat with us: Discord Link[/p][p][/p][p][/p]

New Milestone, Steamdeck and Twitch Support

It’s only been two weeks since we reached 10.000 Wishlists and here we are already at the next milestone of 20.000! Thank you all for following us and showing your support and interest in Gamblers Table, this is nothing but amazing!

Just as last time we would like to share some development updates. First, we have been working on Steamdeck support:

Due to popular request, here is a very early screenshot of our Achievement System:

And lastly, we have been working on twitch chat integration. If a streamer plays the game, he can have his helpers be named after viewers and have them randomly say stuff from the chat:

All these features came from community suggestions. If you also want to participate in the development and share your ideas with us, we’d love to hear them! You can either post on the Steam community hub or join our Discord via this *Link*.

And lastly, if you havent played the prototype yet, you can still try it for free on itch: *Link*

Thank you all for 10K Wishlists!

Hey everyone, we reached our first big milestone! Its been less than 3 weeks and we already made it to 10k Wishlists! Thank you all so much! We would have never guessed that so many people would be interested in our little incremental game.

As a thank you I wanted to share some GIFs of what we are working on for the full version of the game:

We added hats so you can better distinguish your little helpers from now on

New types of coins, of course

And some new animations

In case you have found the game on steam and havend played the prototype yet, you can still try it for free on itch: Link

And if you want to give feedback or chat with us we'd love to have you join our discord: Link

Thanks again for the support, we really appreciate it!

Gamblers Table is coming to Steam!

Hi everyone,

We are excited to announce that Gamblers Table will be coming to Steam!

First, let us give you a quick rundown of who we are and where the idea for Gamblers Table came from. We are Greenpixels and Bossforge, a team of two hobbyist indie devs from Germany. Earlier this year we wanted to work on just a small prototype together and set ourselves a deadline of 3 weeks. Since we are both fans of incremental games the choice of genre was easy and the idea for Gamblers Table was born.

About 6 weeks ago we published the “finished” prototype on itch.io. We didn’t expect more than a handful of players to try the game but then the game started trending and ended up on #1 of the New&Popular category with thousands of daily players. We have been absolutely overwhelmed by all the great feedback and ideas that we received from all of you, thank you all so much!
Due to the amazing reception, we are going to turn the prototype into a fully fleshed out Steam game now! Here is a quick rundown of what additional features and changes we have planned for the full version:

- Significantly longer playtime
- More coin types
- Better income statistics
- Coins that interact with the board in more interesting ways
- Controlling in which direction a coin flies when flipping it
- Controlling which types of coins the automation helpers will flip
- In general, more interactions with the helpers
- Customization for the helpers (hats)
- Upgrades that change the table
- Better sound effects
- Ascencion/Prestige system
- Talent tree
- More clarity about when and how upgrades unlock
- Achievements

Most of these additions come from player feedback. If you have any ideas or wishes for the full game, we would love to know! If you didn’t have a chance to play it, the prototype is still available on itch.io, go check it out and let us know what you think :)

So, whats next? We will be working on the full game and post regular updates here on the Steam community hub. There will also be a Steam demo with most of the final features closer to release. If you click the follow button, you’ll be notified whenever we post and when the demo goes live.
