Development Log #3

[p]Hello everyone![/p][p]Lately I've been rushing to finish new song content, but I've also been squeezing in time to continue developing the Chart Editor. I've now implemented adding and deleting short notes![/p][p][/p][p]As shown in the screenshot: click on an empty spot in the note editing pane to add a note, click an existing note to delete it. Red and blue notes can automatically convert to yellow notes.[/p][p]The editor development is going quite smoothly overall — I should be able to complete the core features like editing charts, saving, and testing pretty soon.[/p][p]For my full vision of the editor, besides custom song charts, I also want to expand it to support custom backgrounds, camera movements, and more.[/p][p]I’d like to ask everyone: Should I finish all the editor features completely before releasing it, or release it in stages? For example, maybe release the first version as soon as it supports custom song charts, then gradually add more features later. [/p][p]Which approach do you think would be better? Please share your thoughts![/p]
