SYNTHESIS OF CORRUPTION: STATE OF THE GAME
[p]Hello everyone,[/p][p]I wanted to give you an update on the state of the game.[/p][p][/p]
TLDR: It’s almost ready, but things still need to be done.
[p][/p]

[p][/p][p]
[/p][p] [/p][p]Since the last demo, significant under-the-hood improvements have been made, especially to the FPS mechanics, one of them - a kind of weapon spread instead of simplistic \[camera] recoil (recoil stays but is very decreased in volume), so you, as a player, would benefit more from focusing/aiming sights.[/p][p][/p][p]While the FPS component has been enhanced, I am committed to preserving the core elements of the survival horror.[/p][p][/p][p]Players can anticipate increased \[default] difficulty, including more dangerous and faster enemies (who can now grab the player), as well as reduced items (ammo/health packs) and an emphasis on how to deal with enemies carefully.[/p][p][/p][p]However, multiple difficulty settings will be available, including both easy and hard modes to accommodate different preferences.[/p][p][/p]

[p] [/p][p]Additionally, as is traditional in survival horror games, there will be puzzles. Here is the preview of some.[/p][p]
[/p][p] [/p]

[p][/p][p]Regarding the game levels/content, I am nearing completion, but I still need to balance and thoroughly test all elements.[/p][p]On a positive note, the majority of the game has already undergone \[my] dev playtesting, so it's some progress.[/p][p] [/p][p]
[/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]Well, I think that’s it. You can still try the demo and attempt to find the bug that no one has found (I’m joking, don’t do that; it’s probably rare and requires an old PC or an old HDD).[/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p] [/p][p]Alright, stay safe and play indie games.[/p][p]Cheers.[/p]
