Slots and Daggers is the D&D and Balatro crossover I've always dreamed of, and you can play it now

What if Balatro was a slot machine instead of a deck of cards? What if Jimbo was replaced by creatures out of your scariest D&D campaign? And what if you could play this game right now? I'm (very loosely) describing Slots and Daggers, the next game that I already know I won't put down for months on end. While it and Balatro both deserve places on our list of the best roguelike games (setting my stall out early here), imagine you've moved away from the weird Blackjack table and taken a seat in front of a particularly strange one-armed bandit in this messed up casino where the only thing you gamble with is your time.

Balancing, Bug Fixes & New Languages

[p]Hey everyone, Friedemann here 👋[/p][p][/p][p]First off, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s already played the Slots & Daggers Demo! The response has been amazing. I’ve gotten so many kind messages and thoughtful feedback, it really means a lot. Seeing people enjoy this weird little project makes all hard work worth it ♥️[/p][p][/p][p]Your feedback has also been super helpful, so I’ve just pushed the first small update to the demo![/p][p][/p][p]Here’s what’s new:[/p]

[p]Adjusted balancing for the Bow & Arrow and the Massive Sword (both were a bit too powerful)[/p]
[p]Fixed some localization issues with missing characters[/p]
[p]Added two new languages: Portuguese (BR) and Korean[/p]

[/p][p]Friedemann here 👋 It’s been a few weeks since the Slots & Daggers reveal, and the response has been incredible - I’ve received so many lovely messages from people excited to see more of this strange little game I’m making.[/p][p][/p][p]So today I’m delighted to share the demo with you all - go download it now if you haven’t already![/p][p]

The demo itself is just intended to give you a little taste of what’s to come in the main game, so you’ll be able to play through the first two zones, and play around with a relatively limited set of weapons, abilities, upgrades and modifiers for now. The main game will obviously have tons more enemies to fight and stuff to unlock and play around with.[/p][p][/p][p]I hope you have a good time with Slots & Daggers - and let me know what you think of the demo! ♥️[/p][p]
