Arctic Rework + Grill Update + Cosmetics + Boat stuff

[p]Evening partner...[/p][p]got some stuff n things for yall[/p][h2]Completed the Grill rework… [/h2][h3]The grill will now cook multiple fish simultaneously rather than one at a time. [/h3]
  • [p]Base cook time increased by 50%[/p]
  • [p]Minimum cook time is 10 seconds, max is 100 seconds.[/p]
  • [p]Cook time is calculated like so… (Clamp((FishPointValue
  • 1.5), 10, 100)
  • upgradedGrillCookMultipler). This means that the fish value is multiplied by 1.5 and then clamped between values of 10 and 100 that way cook time does not exceed 100 seconds or finishes faster than 10. The clamp value does not account for the grill upgrade so it is possible to cook faster than 10 seconds if you upgrade the grill.[/p]
[p][/p][h2]Refactored how cosmetics are applied to characters.[/h2]
  • [p]This new tech will allow for a lot more unique/more detailed cosmetics[/p]
  • [p]Cosmetics will no longer clip with the skin when doing animations[/p]

Reworked the Arctic Map
[p]First of all, thank you to all the feedback!! including you John Twolfe;)[/p]
  • [p]Removed all the floating ice that players would often fall through[/p]
  • [p]Reduced the size of the map by ~40%[/p]
  • [p]Moved jeb to the center of the map. [/p]
  • [p]Added more bait spawns near the cabin and surrounding areas. [/p]
  • [p]Moved one of the portals next to the gambling area[/p]
  • [p]Reduced poly count by around 45% to help with gpu performance on the map[/p]
  • [p]Reworked the area around the altar.[/p]
  • [p]The white portal that teleports you to the center of the map (now jebs location) is now always active. This means you are no longer required to sacrifice a fish to activate the portal[/p]
[p][/p][h3]Added an option to manually spawn in the boat on the jungle map. If the boat is spawned, you now also have an option to respawn the boat in case you leave it somewhere in the ocean. [p]Hey everyone! Back to you with your regularly scheduled GONE Fishing updates. Today's patch focuses on controller support, instruments, fish, and fixes![/p][p][/p]
Controller Support
  • [p]I have finally finished controller support for the game. In the gameplay section of the options menu, you can change the on screen glyphs (input hints) to your specific controller.[/p]
  • [p]You can also adjust controller look sensitivity in the options menu[/p]
  • [p]All UI and in game interactions should be supported; however, if you do come across something that is not working as intended with your controller, please let me know so I can fix it asap[/p][p][/p]

Instruments
  • [p]Added Banjo, Harmonica, Accordion (concertina), and Drum[/p]
  • [p]These Intruments will sync up when played together.[/p]
  • [p]Instruments provide an aura that boosts fishing (similar to fishing in a hotspot)[/p]
  • [p]New songs and instruments will be released in following updates[/p]

Reworked the quota formula
  • [p]The new formula is (RandomFloat * Minimum(dayNumber, 35)) + currentQuota.[/p]
  • [p]The random float has different weights based on the current difficulty you are playing on. For example, on JW difficulty the random float can be a value between 3.5 and 5.[/p]
  • [p]The "Minimum function" returns the smaller value between day number and 35. So if you are currently on day 47, it will use the value of 35. This means the quota should grow fairly linearly after day 35.[/p]

  • [p]When dropped, the pack of beer will turn into 6 individual beers, so bring this pack to your favorite fishing spot[/p]

  • [p]I forgot that there were 2 different spiders (Jungle tarantula and Lake spider) when making the arachnophobia mode. Jungle tarantulas will now be shown as Jorts (with BBL).[/p]
  • [p]The top 10% of Great White Sharks and Xiphactinus (usually 15k+ lbs) will trigger the Double quicktime. (To make them harder to snipe.)[/p]
  • [p]Changed the Smoke in the stove and grill to be more natural.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where the spectate ui would block the in game chat[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where fishing poles would block the stove[/p]
