We are very grateful to see so many lords concerned about the project and the studio's progress. Therefore, we would like to provide a unified response to several questions raised by lords.[/p][p][/p][h3]Q: Will the art design continue?[/h3][p][/p][h3]A: We are always grateful to all the players who participated in our proposal and discussion. Therefore, we are considering adjusting the plan to focus resources on areas that are of greater concern to everyone. [/h3][h3]We will reconsider the art aspect. If we continue, whether it is hand-drawn or AI-reimagined, we will retain the original art for lords to choose from.[/h3][p][/p][p][/p][h3]Q: Will there be a Steam Workshop in the future?[/h3][p][/p][h3]A: Due to the limitations of our team's programming capabilities, we cannot implement a Steam Workshop. However, we hope to invest in the art aspect through the Steam Workshop. We sincerely invite capable lords to collaborate with us, and we will provide compensation. Now it will be optimized separately, and we will test it to ensure it doesn't affect the existing gaming experience. Several unclear terms will also be corrected.[/h3][p][/p][h3]Q: Why did you decide to do this?[/h3][p][/p][h3]A: We are indeed trying to provide a better experience within our limited capabilities. Our update frequency has been quite high since launch, and we will continue to add content. [p]Dear Lords:[/p][p][/p][p]As you read this letter, we have made a very important decision—[/p][p][/p][p]We have decided to completely redraw and replace all card art![/p][p][/p][p]We understand this will cause you some confusion. We have also written down the reasons for this decision below, hoping to receive your understanding and support.[/p][p][/p][h3]Why the Art Change?[/h3][p][/p][p]Since the game demo was released until the official launch, discussions have been seen in social media comments and game reviews: this game uses AI art.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]As the dev team, we were prepared for these comments, but we also hope to make the game better within our capabilities.[/p][p][/p][p]In addition to the card art redraw, we also plan to do a completely new UI design, which will be completely replaced after the card art is ready.[/p][p][/p][h3]What Will the New Art Look Like?[/h3][p][/p][p]The following are illustrations of 3 cards that we have already drawn. [/p][p][/p][p]The card UI versions are temporary and the actual appearance will be subject to the final game update.[/p][p][/p]

[h3]Since we're changing the art, why not do it before launch?[/h3]

• [p]We lack both funds and time.[/p]
  • [p]Even now, with the game launched and over 20,000 copies sold, changing the art is still a huge expense for us.[/p][p][/p]
• [p]We'd also like to take this opportunity to explain that the entire art change is expected to take a year to complete.[/p]
  • [p]According to calculations, approximately 900 images in the game need to be replaced, including all player cards, enemy illustrations, etc.[/p]
  • [p]We will consider updating in batches to improve the user experience, such as changing all cards at once. This depends on the progress and the post-update experience.[/p][p][/p]
• [p]Of course, we will also regularly update the latest drawing progress so that lords can get a sneak peek.[/p]

[p][/p][h3]Besides changing the art, are we neglecting the game content?[/h3]

• [p]This is probably the biggest concern for all lords, so we want to address that worry: Updates to FrostBound will proceed as scheduled.[/p]
  • [p]After 3 months and 10 version updates, the game now features 3 new heroes compared to when it launched, along with several related events.[/p]
  • [p]More event expansions are in the planning stages. We're also preparing a brand new ultimate difficulty level and boss, which requires more time for design and refinement. We'll do our best to make it even better.[/p]
