Intro to the Game: How Hero Power Works

Hero power is a special effect that triggers automatically every time you play a combo.
It grows stronger with each successful combination — up to a maximum of 5.

1. Combos = progress
Every time you combine two Basic cards into one Final, the hero power meter increases by 1 and activates instantly.
🔹 On the left: Hydra is played as a result of a combo — the power meter grows.

2. Final card — keeps the meter
When you play a Final card directly, the combo meter doesn’t increase, but it also doesn’t reset.
🔸 In the center: Archmage activates the current level of hero power — a smart move to maintain your combo chain.

3. Basic card alone — full reset
If you play a single Basic card without a combo, the entire hero power meter resets to zero.
🔻 On the right: Wind is played on its own — the full combo chain is lost.
📉 This is the least favorable move if you want to maintain your momentum.
