Update 1.5.0.15

This update adds a free new banner to hoist for your mercenary company, inspired by popular German streamer HandOfBlood, who previously covered Battle Brothers in a series of Let's Play videos.



Additionally, you'll find a few fixes accumulated over the last couple of months.

  • Fixed throwable Lindwurm acid applying less damage to head armor than intended.
  • Fixed "Break Free" skill using an incorrect melee skill value as a base for calculations after an ally tried to break free a character but failed.
  • Fixed wardogs potentially spawning on top of characters if their owner gets killed and the ground is already covered with corpses.
  • Fixed Blacksmith not properly increasing repair speed of items in the stash.
  • Fixed issue with Wiedergangers not dropping some of their pre-damaged gear as they should.
  • Fixed food counter at the top bar not updating immediately when the player would buy back food that they previously sold.
  • Fixed small coastal forts counting as the wrong tier size of settlement.
  • Fixed various smaller issues and typos.

Livestream and chat with devs!

For a couple of times over the last few months, the Overhype team has joined the community in the official Discord to chat about Battle Brothers (among other things). These events were very interesting (and fun!), so we promised to do it again every now and then; but for the next one we want to take this a step further.

This Friday (February 3rd) at 3:30 pm CET and will run for about 2 hours,. We’ll have a new Chat with the Devs event at our official Discord server; but this time it will be a live talk on Discord, in a new Stage Channel that will be created for this purpose. To make it easier to follow, we’ll gather your questions in the #general chat room and answer you in the voice channel.

We will broadcast the whole event here on Steam too, for those of you who don’t have a Discord account. And to make it more interesting to watch, our community team will be starting a new playthrough of the game. There is now a poll active on our Discord server to decide the origin of this playthrough and discuss other possible roleplaying rules – join us on Discord and give your two cents, and see you next Friday!

  • Fixed UI potentially disappearing in tactical combat if Escape key is pressed rapidly multiple times.
  • Fixed issue with targeting logic of mortar AI.
