Demo v0.1.4 is Now Live!

🤖 Optimized AI pathfinding for more consistent enemy behavior

  • [p]🧱 Fixed a wall missing collision, preventing players from accidentally walking out of bounds[/p]
  • [p]✏️ Corrected a minor typo spotted in one of the control settings[/p]
  • [p]🗣️ Added a simple intro dialogue at the start of the entry level to give players better context about what’s happening, helping you step into the story from the very beginning[/p]

We've addressed this issue in our latest update, Demo v0.1.2, to ensure a smoother experience.[/p][p]This update also includes:[/p]
  • [p]🎨 Visual optimizations to the main menu for better aesthetics and clarity[/p]
  • [p]🔫 Pistol being available immediately in stage 2, allowing players to carry the weapon earlier for improved gameplay flow[/p]
[p]Important Note: To successfully launch the game, please make sure to update to the new version of the demo. Hey everyone! If you haven’t already, don’t forget to wishlist《工廈 Warehouse》on Steam — your support is everything for this solo indie horror journey through the underbelly of Hong Kong’s industrial buildings 🖤

This week, I’ve designed the transition level between Level 2 and Level 3:
The staircase.

In this video, you’ll see how the layout started as a basic prototype, and then transformed with textures, lighting, and post-process effects.

🕳️ Though this stairwell is a shorter level and didn’t take as long to finish, the atmosphere is key — and just like in real-life industrial buildings in Hong Kong, some corners of these staircases are so dark you don’t know what's in there.

These places are where urban legends are born, and ghost stories feel a little too believable 👻

🔜 Next devlog: I’ll be diving into Level 3 — a brand new floor in the building, featuring completely different layouts, interactions, puzzles… and of course, a new wave of jumpscares. It’s gonna get weird.

Hi everyone!

This week marks a major milestone — Level 2 is now fully furnished and I’ve started implementing core gameplay logic to bring the horror to life.

🧩 In this update:
After picking up a key item, players will hear a strange baby crying echoing through the corridor. But as you approach the source of the sound… it suddenly stops.
Just one of many eerie mechanics planned to make this level feel alive (and very wrong).
This isn’t the final version of the logic yet — more interaction and refinement will follow.

Next up in Devlog:
I’ll begin working on the stairwell transition between Level 2 and 3. Something unsettling is planned for that narrow, echoing space. Stay tuned...
