Monthly update November 2025: Tide-bending with the moon.

[p]This month, we're working on additional mechanics for the water biome and some visual updates. [/p][p]We loved the water dungeon puzzles in Zelda but felt that it might be too boring to increase the water level from flicking a switch. So instead, you move the moon to change the water tide level.[/p][p][/p][p]The water can submerge entire portions of the level. It can be helpful but be aware of electricity hazards!
If you haven't noticed, the player can swim now, we're working on testing some underwater puzzles with the tide bending mechanic.[/p][p]It's bit late for Halloween, but we're adding some animations to the eldritch purple flowers that prevent folding. They now bloom and look at the cursor when the player is folding and they really don't like it when the you try to fold past them.
[/p][p][/p][p]We're also prototyping new mechanics for another biome. We'll reveal more about it once it's ready. And yes, you may expect further Avatar references in future updates.[/p]

Monthly update October 2025: Water biome and other updates

[p]As you might know, we've recently updated the demo with new water levels. We're currently polishing the water area visuals and advanced water mechanics.[/p][p]Here's a sneak peak into the water biome visuals:[/p][p][/p][p]Keep in mind that this is work in progress and may be subject to change. We're testing several things with the water mechanics and we may need to tweak the visual style to accommodate everything. [/p][p]We won't reveal too much about the later water area mechanics to avoid spoiling puzzles. However, you can get a taste of the water mechanics in the new demo.[/p][p]Lastly, we'd like to thank everyone for reaching 4K+ wishlists. Thank you![/p][p][/p][p][/p]

New Demo with electrifying water levels released!

[p]We've added new levels with the water and electricity mechanic in the demo! We hope that this will give you a taste of the puzzle potential of these mechanics in the full game(especially the last water level).[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p] If you've completed the previous levels, you can start from right from the new levels.[/p][p]Some additional improvements:[/p]
  1. [p]Glitch line mechanic updated for less visual clutter [/p]
  2. [p]Level sequence streamlined[/p]
  3. [p]Fixed a bug that caused lag after folding due to zombie foliage from beyond the fold.[/p]
  4. [p]Fixed an issue where folded elements would snap back to original position for a few frames after fold.[/p]

Monthly update September 2025: Sparks are flying and... swimming?

[p]This month, we've been working on fleshing out the water mechanic. Water can now conduct electricity and can activate switches and other things in the level. [/p][p][/p][p]You might remember in the trailer, you could hotwire circuits by folding. This is an extension of that.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]This turns water into both a useful tool and a dangerous obstacle that can kill you. We're excited to share the new puzzle opportunities this opens up. You can expect a new demo build mid August.[/p]

Monthly update August 2025: From space-bending to water-bending

[p]We've been working steadily on new mechanics and puzzles after the demo. One of the new mechanics we're excited to share is the interactable water system![/p][p]
[/p][p]In the gif you can see the water being redirected by space folding to activate a waterwheel and open a gate. You'll be able to do a lot more with water in the full game and we can't wait to share more.

We're planning to update the demo with a new selection of levels in September. On that note, in case you missed it, the demo has had 3 new levels since the last public update! If you've completed the previous levels, you can try them instantly!

Lastly, we hit 3K+ wishlists recently and we'd like to thank all the players for helping us come so far! If you'd like to follow the game's development, you can wishlist to be notified when it's updated.[/p][p][/p]
