Cue Club 2 Update

Hi everyone,

Today we added a new update to Cue Club 2 with some more nice additions, improvements and fixes.

  • There are now 3 different pocket settings available for pool and snooker: Easy, Medium and Hard. Easy setting has larger and rounder pocket holes, and the harder settings have smaller and more recessed holes.

  • Table proportions in 2D mode can now be toggled between a 2:1 ratio, or fullscreen and borderless setting. From the main menu select 'Options > Tables > Global Settings > Proportions'.

  • Improved support for game controllers, with better menu navigation.

  • Fixed an issue in snooker to ensure the 'Replace Balls' option is always correctly shown after a foul, up to a maximum of three consecutive times.

  • A.I. players now wait longer before prompting you to play a shot. If you prefer, A.I. comments can also be turned off by going to 'Options > Match Settings > Chat (Offline)'.

  • Fixed an issue in 3D mode, to ensure that the mouse wheel can be used to change power, when this option is selected from the controls menu.

  • Improved menu layout. Table dynamics are now set from the 'Options > Table > Global Settings' menu. Cue and chalking methods are set from 'Options > Cues > Global Settings'. Control and navigation options are set from 'Controls > Settings', and also available from the in-game menu.

  • Other minor fixes and enhancements.

Thanks again for the continued feedback and support :)

Cue Club 2 Update

Hi everyone,

To complement a recent update where we added a selection of 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 ft tables for pool and snooker, we have focused on making further A.I. and gameplay improvements for this new version of the game.

  • 5 new A.I. difficulty settings for Tournament mode and Bar Challenge, offering a broader range of opponent skill levels. Go to Options > Match Settings, and select from Novice, Amateur, Intermediate, Expert or Professional. Default setting is Intermediate.

  • We have fixed an issue following a recent Windows 10 update, which now gives a faster and smoother frame rate to the game.

  • Improved the way the A.I. handles Foul & Miss situations in snooker. Also added a limit to replace balls up to 3 times in a row, to prevent cheating a win.

  • Fixed an issue relating to the above, where a foul on a colour in snooker would automatically nominate a red ball, if the balls were replaced.

  • Improved the way the referee moves around the table when 2 or more balls have been potted at the same time and require re-spotting.

  • Other minor fixes and enhancements.

Thanks again for supporting Cue Club 2 and giving us the great feedback.
