◆ The Road to Blade & Soul ◆
[p]
“The fashion, the game’s art style, and class identity give B&S a distinct personality compared to other MMOs.”[/p][p][/p][p]
How did you first discover Blade & Soul? What initially caught your interest?I saw notifications of upcoming MMOs on Reddit, and it caught my attention instantly.[/p][p][/p][p]
After getting familiar with the game, what kept you coming back? The combat system, the story, the aesthetics of the game, graphics, and the people![/p][p][/p][p]
Are/were you in a clan? If so, which clan? There have been a few I spent time in. I was in Relinquish back in the days, then I went to Crash Warped. Later, after my break, I joined Training Whales. From that day on, I spent time in clans like Nova, BNS Friends, and the Gaming Clan of our lovely Erhardt.[/p][p]Now I’m back to my roots and have
revived Crash Warped, which I am very proud of.[/p][p][/p][p]
How long have you been playing Blade & Soul?Since launch in EU, I guess around 9 years in total, including the break I took.[/p][p][/p][p]
Have you always been the same class? If not, why did you change?I’ve always played Blade Master. Even after testing other classes on my alts, I still loyally stick to my favorite class of all.[/p][p][/p][p]
What do you like most about your current class? With Blade Master, I can be very mobile. i frames are great, I’m able to give party resist, and I can even switch builds to help on breaker and double CC on my own. Back then, having a proper tank was needed. Nowadays, it’s different. Everyone is able to tank now, and I think in the old days, I loved having the responsibility to tank a boss.[/p][p][/p]
◆ Blade & Soul Through The Years ◆
[p]
“You feel the tension in real time, the rush when things go right, and the frustration when they don’t, but that’s what makes every win feel earned.”[/p][p][/p][p]
What makes Blade & Soul stand out compared to other games you’ve played? It stands out for its fast skill-based combat, unique martial arts style, and fluid movement that makes every fight feel hands-on and rewarding. The fashion and the game’s art style and class identity also give it a distinct personality compared to other MMOs.[/p][p][/p][p]
Why do you like the game type you’re currently playing (LIVE or NEO)?Because
B&S LIVE feels
alive.[/p][p]You feel the tension in real time, the rush when things go right, and the frustration when they don’t, but that’s what makes every win feel earned. There’s no pause, no safety net. It pulls you in, keeps your heart racing, and makes every moment matter.
Have you always played this version, or did you switch? Why?I’ve always played
Live. When
Neo came out, I tried it, but Live still felt like home. During my break from B&S, I mostly played
Dead by Daylight because it was easier to fit into my life at the time with less commitment needed. Now that I’m back, Live is where I feel most connected again.[/p][p][/p]
♥︎ Favorite Memories & Stories ♥︎
[p]
“I enjoyed the first launch days a lot because I met great people to play with, explored areas, and learned my class.”[/p][p]
Tell us some of your favorite memories from B&S.I remember doing faction wars, waiting patiently for Blackwyrm to spawn, or farming Infernal Lord for my outfit. I also remember loving the open area from E Fleet Supply Chain. There are many great memories I always keep in mind…The SSP wars we had against other factions or gathering in Grandharvest Square, or for the Big Bad Beetle Boss, and many more. My most favorite moment was Midnight Skypetal Plains fighting Longgui and watering plants.[/p][p]In the old days, we had tournaments and it was exciting to cheer for close friends and look up to
amazing players like Zapish, Tenah, Brother Bill, and ILL.[/p][p]
What is the most ridiculous or unexpected thing that ever happened to you in-game?Meeting people. It always baffles me how amazing people are.
Rare dungeon drops that I was never able to bid on or win a roll for have been my curse.[/p][p][/p][p]
Do you remember your first time launching B&S? What stands out?I remember taking a few days off just for this special day. I wanted to play and not bother with anything else. I didn’t expect to end up in a one-hour queue, but the first day was amazing. The server was flooded with people, and getting to kill mobs was incredibly hard, even with a party. What stood out most to me was the fashion and the dungeons themselves. The main quest caught me deeply, and I enjoyed the first launch days a lot because I met great people to play with, explored areas, and learned my class.[/p][p][/p][p]
What’s the hardest you’ve laughed while playing?I truly enjoyed farming runs in Ebondrake Lair with my friends or clan. A special chef named Fairyboo who loves to cook with fire. Burning us in dungeons as punishment by a firewall for alt-tabbing or just being too slow. Also, those tiny rival fights, teases, daily runs, or raids.[/p][p]
Have you ever stayed up way too late because of B&S?Oh yes, and I will never forget those days. I stayed up straight for four days without any big pause, farming Blackram Supply Chain just for my outfit.
Once it dropped, I felt exhausted and went straight to bed, sleeping for an entire day.[/p][p]
[/p][p][/p]
◆World, Zones, & Content◆
[p]
What is your favorite zone in the game and why?I love Stratus Heaven in Primeval Forest from the Silverfrost Mountains continent, it’s my favorite spot. I also love places to relax like Moonwater Plains, especially because I love Ploggies. Also, Midnight Skypetal Plains with its amazing lighting, trees, and a beautiful full moon.[/p][p][/p][p]
Where do you have some of your best memories?Raven King was my first raid. I loved learning the mechanics and spending time with the people there. I was amazed at how many people came online just to practice and give their best to achieve it.[/p][p][/p][p]
Was there a specific update, patch, or era that felt like the “golden age” for you?I truly loved the Silverfrost update.
The snowy area was great, and having so many people around farming or doing dailies there was a great alternative to just going to F8 for dungeons.
Spinning the wheel to finally get clothing parts or the newest soul shields created great memories.[/p][p][/p][p]

◆ Clan and Community ◆
[p]
“My goal is to create a welcoming place where people feel safe and wanted.”[/p][p]
🎊
Events & Community Moments🎊[/p][p]
What are some of your past favorite events? My favorite event has been the Drop Scotch the Squid Game, which was awesome! I also loved the Great Windwalk Race event because of its pretty looks and funny traps.[/p][p][/p][p]
Has B&S ever crossed into your real life? (meetups, conventions, friendships, relationships)Of course. I met many amazing people, but
one special person to me has always been Kanemi.[/p][p][/p][p]
Do you have any unforgettable clan moments? There have been many, but the best clan moment has been in raids. Hugging the corner is a must, otherwise you gain seven years of bad luck. Corner worshipping grants you luck, whether it’s upgrading or loot.[/p][p][/p][p]
Do you have any funny stories involving rival clans or players?I clearly remember the old Misty Woods days as if it were yesterday.
Clarity stood on the Blackwyrm hill, causing Crimson players trouble and keeping Blackwyrm focused. Those days felt incredibly alive.[/p][p][/p][p]
What’s your favorite B&S meme, joke, or community inside-joke?
“Do you feel powerless?
“
“Enemy Raid“
“It’s a Dog eat Dog world“[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]
🧑🤝🧑 Character, Role & Clan Identity 🧑🤝🧑[/p][p]
What makes your character special or unique?I’m a compassionate person and quickly notice when someone is feeling down. My ideas are often innovative and help maintain a good mood. I know how important communication is, so I try to see things neutrally and from both sides. My strength is supporting others and de-escalating situations. I love improving every day and learning from other people’s perspectives.
I’m the leader of the clan Crash Warped, and my goal is to create a welcoming place where people feel safe and wanted.[/p][p][/p][p]
What impact do you think your character has had on your server or community?Through my ideas, creativity, fighting spirit, and by being a good friend who maintains motivation.[/p][p][/p][p]
What makes your clan special? We focus on improvement, activities, and fun. We don’t stress. We just enjoy spending time together and forgetting about the real world.[/p][p][/p][p]
What is your clan’s reputation on your server? We’re known for being kind, forward-thinking, and helpful—especially to returning and new players.[/p][p][/p][p]
Any favorite or legendary clan stories? We hosted a Christmas clan event for new members, including finding locations, dice games, and hide and seek. The prizes were huge and rewarding, and we’re planning for even more events in the future.[/p][p][/p][p]

🏆 Pride & Accomplishments🏆[/p][p]
What achievement are you proudest of your time in B&S?Reaching the top 10 in rankings for the first time with help from friends and clan members.
Getting my first Kirin made me incredibly happy and proud.
Being nominated for the Ploggie Awards motivated me even more.Creating and leading the 10th Anniversary riddles was incredibly fun and rewarding, and it was great to see the community put so much effort into solving them.
Is there something in-game that feels like your “signature move”?“No matter where you are on the server, if you see someone dancing, it’s probably me.“[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]
💬Opinions & Hot Takes💬[/p][p]
Do you have any hot takes that other players might disagree with?
“Faction PvP caused more drama than fun.”[/p][p][/p][p]
How has B&S and its community changed over the years? When I first started Blade & Soul, the game felt incredibly alive…(The community changed shape, but the passion is still there.)[/p][p][/p][p]
Have you ever quit and come back? What brought you back?I always missed Blade & Soul. I took breaks due to work and real-life responsibilities, but I returned for the nostalgia, the world, the people, and especially the combat system. Nothing compares to B&S![/p][p][/p]
♥︎ Personal Connection ♥︎
[p]
Has Blade & Soul ever helped you through a difficult time?It still does. Not just the game, but the community. Having people you can talk to and rely on…it creates bonds that keep us strong and motivated.[/p][p][/p][p]
Did B&S introduce you to friends or people who are still in your life today?
Yes, many people are still part of my life, even if we talk less. Like
Kanemi, she is an amazing friend with a wonderful personality and a special place in my heart[/p][p][/p]
◆ Looking Ahead ◆
[p]
If you still play B&S, what keeps you coming back?Hope for new content, fashion, dungeon overhauls, community events, weekly raids, fashion runs, achievements, and time with friends and clan.[/p][p][/p][p]
What hopes do you have for the future of the game?I hope Blade & Soul continues to focus on fast, fluid combat, meaningful rewards, nostalgic content, balanced PvP; and strong community-driven Discord and in-game events.
If you could send a message to your younger B&S self, what would it be?Slow down, breathe. Enjoy the moments and people. Those memories matter more than any outfit.[/p][p]
