Player Spotlight: End
◆ Character Summary ◆
[p][/p][p]End[/p][p]Blade Master —> Blade Dancer[/p][p]Blade & Soul[/p][p]Zulia—> Yura Server[/p][p][/p]
◆ The Road to Blade & Soul ◆
[p]“My guild has always been a symbol of family, something that goes beyond Blade & Soul itself. I built strong bonds with my companions—friendships that I still carry with me today.”[/p][p][/p][p]What is the name and class of your main character?
My name in Blade & Soul has always been End. I began my journey playing exclusively as a Blade Master in 2016. Over the years, I tested almost every class in the game, but my heart was always with the Blade Master.[/p][p]In 2025, I decided to completely change my approach and migrated to the Blade Dancer, which I like to describe as a “small Blade Master.” Despite their similarities, the differences between the two classes are enough to make each one unique, and this change completely renewed my way of playing the game.[/p][p][/p][p]Have you belonged to a clan or guild?
When I started playing in 2016, I didn’t know much about the game. I learned a lot from other players I met in the Brazilian guild Café Doce com Bolo, which focused on keeping the community active and engaged in different types of content.[/p][p]Also, I have always maintained my own guild, which to me represents something far greater than just a group in a game. My guild has always been a symbol of family, something that goes beyond Blade & Soul itself. I built strong bonds with my companions—friendships that I still carry with me today.[/p][p]The name of the guild, Dream End, has always held a deep personal meaning. It can have many interpretations, but for me it represents something simple and true: “End’s dream.” My dream was always to be surrounded by good friends—people who were dedicated, capable of clearing content, and who loved the game as much as I did.[/p][p][/p]
◆ Blade & Soul Through The Years ◆
[p]“Blade & Soul captured me in an incredibly strong way. I fell in love with its design, combat style, and overall gameplay. Every day felt like a new discovery.”[/p][p][/p][p]How did you first discover Blade & Soul?[/p][p]I discovered Blade & Soul through online videos in 2015, but I only started playing officially in 2016, at launch. Until then, I had very little experience with MMORPGs. My background was mostly in FPS and casual games.[/p][p]Still, Blade & Soul captured me in an incredibly strong way. I fell in love with its design, combat style, and overall gameplay. Every day felt like a new discovery—learning how to improve my character, understanding a dungeon, mastering mechanics, or simply progressing within the game.[/p][p]That constant sense of growth and discovery is what kept me playing Blade & Soul for so many years.[/p][p][/p][p]How long have you been playing Blade & Soul?
I have been playing Blade & Soul since 2016. Over the years, I took a few short breaks, but I never truly left the game and always ended up returning.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
♥︎ Favorite Memories & Stories ♥︎
[p]“…practicing mechanics with friends, making mistakes, laughing, getting stressed, and sometimes frustrated. It was an intense mix of emotions that I now look back on with deep nostalgia…”[/p][p][/p][p]Where do you have some of your best memories?[/p][p]Blade & Soul was my first true MMORPG, so almost everything was new to me. Exploring maps, discovering the world, and learning everything the game had to offer brings me strong nostalgia to this day.[/p][p]I remember spending hours farming world bosses, several days in a row, just to obtain their outfits from roulette drops. I would often stay up all night playing after coming home from school, go to class without sleeping, and return home eager to continue progressing my character.[/p][p]One of my favorite raids was undoubtedly Skybreak Spire. We spent days trying to clear it, practicing mechanics with friends, making mistakes, laughing, getting stressed, and sometimes frustrated. It was an intense mix of emotions that I now look back on with deep nostalgia.[/p][p][/p][p]Do you remember your first time launching B&S? What stands out?[/p][p]My first time launching Blade & Soul is almost funny to remember. I didn’t even know if the game would run properly on my computer. At the time, my setup was a Celeron E5700, a GeForce 8400 GS with 512 MB, and 8 GB of RAM. I managed to run everything on minimum settings, but I was still completely amazed by the open world and the possibilities it offered. What impressed me the most was the combat system, something I had always wanted but never found before.[/p][p][/p][p]What’s the hardest you’ve laughed while playing?[/p][p]The moments when I laughed the most were definitely during voice calls with friends while running dungeons. Between wipes, jokes, and chaos, there were countless unforgettable laughs.[/p][p][/p][p]Have you ever stayed up way too late because of B&S?[/p][p]I’ve stayed awake for more than two days straight playing Blade & Soul during vacations. For long periods, I played every single day, always focused on farming, progressing, and learning. Interestingly, I often learned mechanics while sleeping—when I spend too much time practicing something, I dream about it and mentally train during those dreams. It may sound crazy, but it truly worked for me.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
◆World, Zones, & Content◆
[p][/p][p]What is your favorite zone in the game and why?[/p][p]My favorite zone in Blade & Soul is Dasare Palace Gardens, especially the area near the windmill. That place became special to me in a very personal way.[/p][p]There were many nights when I would leave my character there while going to sleep, simply letting the ambient music play. That music deeply enchanted me—and even today, when I hear it, it brings back the same feeling.[/p][p]I would stare at that scenery and imagine myself living in that world, thinking about what it would be like to exist in such an incredible place full of adventures. It’s one of those locations that goes beyond gameplay and becomes an emotional memory.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
♥︎ Personal Connection ♥︎
[p]“Meeting someone through a game and seeing that relationship become real and meaningful is something that truly marked me emotionally. These moments reinforce that Blade & Soul was never just a game—it created real connections, real stories, and real emotions beyond the screen.”[/p][p][/p][p]Has Blade & Soul ever helped you through a difficult time?[/p][p]Blade & Soul helped me through difficult periods of my life, including times of depression. Playing during those moments allowed me, even if only temporarily, to forget what I was feeling and find comfort in something I truly loved.[/p][p][/p][p]Did B&S introduce you to friends or people who are still in your life today?[/p][p]Throughout my journey, Blade & Soul also introduced me to many people. Some of them are still part of my life today.[/p][p]I even met my ex-girlfriend through the game. We grew closer by playing together, raiding, and spending many nights talking. We lived in different states, and the daily connection within the game became something much deeper. Eventually, I decided to meet her in person. The relationship worked, and we stayed together for three years. Unfortunately, as in real life, not everything turned out as expected and we eventually separated. Still, it was an incredible experience.[/p][p]Meeting someone through a game and seeing that relationship become real and meaningful is something that truly marked me emotionally.[/p][p]These moments reinforce that Blade & Soul was never just a game—it created real connections, real stories, and real emotions beyond the screen.[/p][p][/p][p]🏆 Pride & Accomplishments🏆[/p][p][/p][p]What achievement are you proudest of during your time in B&S?[/p][p]What makes me most proud in Blade & Soul is knowing that over the years, I was able to contribute to the game in some way. I created content such as videos and tutorials aimed at helping new players. Even if it seems small, knowing that I made a difference for some players means a lot to me.[/p][p]Helping others understand the game, progress, and enjoy the experience has always been a source of pride and strengthened my connection to the community.[/p][p][/p][p]What was your biggest “I finally did it” moment?[/p][p]My greatest “I finally did it” moments were not limited to just one event. They happened every time I managed to obtain the final-tier gear purely through my own effort and farming. My goal was always to clear end-game content, reaching the final stages of each dungeon. When I achieved that, I could proudly say I had reached the end-game.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
◆ Looking Ahead ◆
[p]“What I can say is that Blade & Soul is a wonderful game, and if you allow yourself to fully experience it, it can create countless unforgettable memories. It’s a game where you can meet great people, learn new things, and perhaps even find love—as I did.”[/p][p][/p][p]What hopes do you have for the future of the game?[/p][p]For Brazilian players, there has always been one major dream: having an official South America (SA) server. For many years, we asked for it, held onto hope, and continued playing despite many limitations. We even had a partial Portuguese translation at one point, which was eventually discontinued. I understand that maintaining something like this is not easy—there are many factors involved, such as infrastructure, investment, and an active player base in a specific region. Still, it’s impossible to deny that there were many active Brazilian players for many years.[/p][p]For a long time, we played with ping above 200, always hoping that one day we could compete on equal footing, especially in PvP, where fast skill response is essential to fully utilize a class’s potential. This was always a distant dream—and today, I know it will likely never happen within Blade & Soul.[/p][p]I also tried other versions of the game. I tested Blade & Soul NEO, but because I was so attached to the Live version, I couldn’t adapt or abandon my end-game character.[/p][p][/p][p]If you could send a message to your younger B&S self, what would it be?[/p][p]If I could speak to my early Blade & Soul self, I would tell him to enjoy every moment, every person, and every experience. Not to rush, not to skip steps, and not to focus only on results, but on the journey itself.[/p][p]I would tell him to value friendships, voice chats, sleepless nights, mistakes, and even frustrations—because all of that would later become the most important memories. In the end, what truly remains are not just items or achievements, but the stories and the people who walked alongside you.[/p][p][/p][p]Is there anything you’d like to say to the Blade & Soul community?[/p][p]It’s difficult to describe Blade & Soul in just a few words. I spend a lot of time talking with friends about the game, reminiscing about moments from its golden era, sharing stories, raids, and memories.[/p][p]What I can say is that Blade & Soul is a wonderful game, and if you allow yourself to fully experience it, it can create countless unforgettable memories. It’s a game where you can meet great people, learn new things, and perhaps even find love—as I did.[/p]
