[p]Happy Holidays Boom Bots![/p][p]The Winter Holiday update is here and with it a variety of new costumes, a new ability, a cool new costume type and more! Much like the spooky update the holiday update includes new themed costumes with an in game sale. So now is the best time to get in and collect them! Also included in the update is some fun new themed stage decor. Additionally you will find the new 'Gift' ability. The gift ability gives all players the same random ability when used. Most of you anyways, robot Santa sees what faces you draw... And speaking of faces there are now face shader costumes! • [p]Pot Bet now has 20% ante.[/p]
  • [p]This means when the opening bet starts a players bet will be set to 20% of their cash. This way rich players can't stay rich by risking nothing.[/p]
• [p]Typing in any input field will now mute your outgoing voice. (No more accidentally enabling PTT while text chatting.)[/p]
• [p]Added new 'None' option for voice input method setting.[/p]
• [p]Minigame selection is now cycled. Meaning players should play all selected minigames before seeing a repeat in a round.[/p]

  • [p]Players should no longer be able to bet negative amounts of money.[/p]
  • [p]Selecting call on the pot bet will no longer lower your bet if your money has gone lower than your previous bet value. (From purchasing bottles).[/p]

New minigames, match settings and abilities with a focus on betting![/p][p]There is a lot of new content in the update, most of if in the form of new match settings. If you want the easiest route to play the new stuff try the 'Casino Style' rule preset. • [p]Pot Betting:[/p]
  • [p]A new match setting that replaces the normal prize pot with a betting system.[/p]
  • [p]It starts with an opening bet, then players can raise call or stand. Once everyone has either called or stood the match will start as normal.[/p]
  • [p]If a player who bet less than you wins, any extra will be refunded to you.[/p]

• [p]Side Bets:[/p]
  • [p]A new match setting that adds another betting option.[/p]
  • [p]Before each round starts a side bet will be randomly generated. A random player and placement is picked. (IE. Jared will win, or Danielle will get third).[/p]
  • [p]All players can then place a bet on it. If the side bet comes true players win 2x their cash![/p]

  • [p]Can now toggle exactly which minigames may appear in the match.[/p]

  • [p]Seventeen:[/p]
    • [p]Players are delt cards and try to get as close as they can to 17 without going over. Closest wins 2x their bet.[/p]
    • [p]It starts with each player being delt two cards. From there hit to draw another, stay to lock them in or double down (first round only) to double your bet then hit.[/p]
  • [p]Shop:[/p]
    • [p]The shop will be randomly loaded with a number of abilities equal to the number of current players.[/p]
    • [p]Each of these abilities may be purchased for cash but only 1 person can buy each ability, so you will have to be the quickest if you want it.[/p]
    • [p]But, before each purchase you must complete a verification task. This could involve solving a simple math problem, counting shapes, or making two mosaics match.[/p]
