Sever saving issue when the sever is not properly shut down
Hello! I am aware of a big issue that has been happening with the game now live, and the server on AWS running at higher capacity.
I have woken up the last couple days, and even looked at the server in the middle of the day to see that it has crashed.
When the server crashes, and isn't shut down properly the players on that server will lose whatever progress they have made in between the last time the server was shut down properly.
I will be posting an update soon here within the next couple days that will make tghe server save files every 5 minutes or so, or when a player logs out of the game, instead of only when the server is shut down using the shut down command.
I apologize if you have lost buildings or progress because of this, it is my goal this week to fix that, so if the server crashes for some reason players will only lose progress from the last 5 minutes, instead of the last time the server was properly shut down.
I was informed about this bug early on, and i got you guys, give me a few days.
I'm not sure why the server crashes, i'm running the game on AWS servers, at the medium server setting, so it's quite possible it gets overloaded at some point, or other factors may be making it crash,
I can't see anything in the server logs as to why it is doing that. I'll make this my first priority to fix before anything else.
