New Game Mode & Patch 1.3 Changes
[p]Happy New Year! Crazy that January is already almost over. So far the month has been a lot busier that Cory and I had expected (a good problem to have), and we've loved seeing people continue to find and play out game. I've been thrilled to see the reviews continue to pour in and it's always heartwarming to hear from a player who enjoyed the game.[/p][p][/p][p]If you haven't already please leave us a Steam review, it really helps us a lot![/p][h3]Speed Running:[/h3][p]We now officially have a category on Speed Run .com. We'd love to see more times submitted over there and maybe see if there world record can can go sub 50 min.
[/p][h3]What We're Working On:[/h3]
- [p]Roguelike mode! Thank you for all the feedback you've given after playing the proof of concept on the beta testing branch. We are still not sure when this mode will be ready, but I have a few good ideas which I think will address a majority of the feedback we've seen. Stay tuned for more updates soon.[/p]
- [p]Steam Workshop and Mods support. We've started exploring what it will take to add support for the Steam Workshop as well as mods. Again no timeline on when this will come, but it's something I am interested in exploring even if it's just to understand this for future game. Please let me know if you are interested in modding or have experience with that.[/p]
- [p]More game modes, quality of life settings, and fixing random bugs you all find[/p]

1.3 Patch Notes
[p]A bit of a smaller patch than I would have liked, but this has been a busy month so I'm trying to give myself grace and let this month be what it needs to be.[/p][h3]Demo Mode[/h3]
- [p]This is basically as close to an exact copy of the original steam demo that we launched back in September[/p]
- [p]Post demo launch we made a few changes to how core system like object mass work, but overall we think this mode will play/feel the same[/p]
- [p]Oh and this means that radioactive asteroids are now back in the game[/p]
- [p]New achievement added for beating demo mode

- [p]I update the back end code for how the upgrade tree loads which should improve some initial load times. The main goal here was to allow us to create upgrade trees with far more nodes.[/p]
- [p]Added a new achievement to break all the objects on the screen. Yes this is possible in the main mode if you take the correct early upgrades and it's also possible in a few of the additional game modes.[/p]
- [p]If you break all the objects on the screen you will now see a button in the bottom right to end the session early[/p]
- [p]Fixed some translation issues
