This patch brings a brand-new Shield System, weapon variation mechanics, armor reworks, and tons of fixes and visual upgrades.[/p][hr][/hr][h2]π‘οΈ New Shield System (Inspired by Borderlands)[/h2][p]A brand-new Shield mechanic has been added to Shatterland![/p]

- [p]How it works:
Your armor now includes a shield layer that protects your health.[/p]- [p]The shield absorbs incoming damage first.[/p]
- [p]Once your shield breaks, your health will start going down.[/p]
- [p]After avoiding damage for a few seconds, your shield will automatically regenerate.[/p]
- [p]Example:[/p]
- [p]A shield with 700 capacity can absorb 700 damage before breaking.[/p]
- [p]You can find or craft different shields with varying power levels, regeneration speed, and durability.[/p]
- [p]Why it matters:[/p]
- [p]It adds a new layer of strategy and survivability.[/p]
- [p]Combat feels more dynamic β you can take risks, retreat to recover, and plan your fights better.[/p]
- [p]Just like in Borderlands, better gear means better protection![/p]
- [p]Example: a normal AK-47 can deal between 17β21 damage, depending on the roll.[/p]
- [p]This means looting and exploring will always give you new surprises β you might just find that perfect high-roll weapon![/p]
- [p]All armor protection reduced by 50% for better combat balance.[/p]
- [p]π¦Ί Bulletproof Vest (5-Slot) β Level 5 required, 5% damage protection.[/p]
- [p]π¦Ί Bulletproof Vest (10-Slot) β Level 10 required, 15% damage protection.[/p]
- [p]π Cloth Shirt (5-Slot & 10-Slot) β Adds more inventory space.[/p]
- [p]π Hiking Backpack β Requires Level 10 to equip.[/p]
- [p]Edited the distance and range of all zombie spawns for smoother pacing.[/p]
- [p]Added new spawn effects with improved visuals.[/p]
- [p]Fixed zombies spawning incorrectly.[/p]
- [p]Reduced zombie density in certain cities for better performance.[/p]
- [p]Improved view distance and FPS stability.[/p]
- [p]Fixed car exit issues (including monster truck).[/p]
- [p]Added new paint colors for the truck and beetle vehicles.[/p]
- [p]Added two new frog decorations, including the three-eyed frog πΈ.[/p]
- [p]Tokens can now be found in trash bins, lootboxes, and military chests.[/p]
- [p]Money in chests slightly reduced for better progression pacing.[/p]
- [p]Fiber resource now has a custom gathering sound.[/p]
- [p]Added a loading screen in the lobby for smoother transitions.[/p]
- [p]You can now press \[E] to loot all or click the button manually.[/p]
- [p]Fixed small storage chest collisions, silencer compatibility, red message bug, and boss barrel collision.[/p]
- [p]Fixed fiber physics and door lockpick issues.[/p]
