๐Ÿ”ง Hotfix: Leaning, Shield Recharge & Collision Fixes

[p]Hey Survivors,[/p][p]First off, I want to apologize for the delay in getting this patch out to you. We had to tackle a couple of tricky issues, but now itโ€™s all fixed up![/p][hr][/hr][h2]๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Whatโ€™s Fixed[/h2]
  • [p]Leaning Right with Rifles: We fixed the issue where you couldnโ€™t shoot properly when leaning to the right. Now when you lean and aim, everything works as intended.[/p]
  • [p]Shield Recharge: We also identified and fixed a problem where shields werenโ€™t recharging correctly. Now shields will regenerate as they should, giving you the proper protection.[/p]
  • [p]Bag Collision: Weโ€™ve corrected the collision with the bag when it drops at night or during the day, so itโ€™s now visible as intended at all times.[/p]

[p][/p][p]Hey Survivors,[/p][p]Another big update is live! This patch brings a brand-new Shield System, weapon variation mechanics, armor reworks, and tons of fixes and visual upgrades.[/p][hr][/hr][h2]๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ New Shield System (Inspired by Borderlands)[/h2][p]A brand-new Shield mechanic has been added to Shatterland![/p]
  • [p]How it works:
    Your armor now includes a shield layer that protects your health.[/p]
    • [p]The shield absorbs incoming damage first.[/p]
    • [p]Once your shield breaks, your health will start going down.[/p]
    • [p]After avoiding damage for a few seconds, your shield will automatically regenerate.[/p]
  • [p]Example:[/p]
    • [p]A shield with 700 capacity can absorb 700 damage before breaking.[/p]
    • [p]You can find or craft different shields with varying power levels, regeneration speed, and durability.[/p]
  • [p]Why it matters:[/p]
    • [p]It adds a new layer of strategy and survivability.[/p]
    • [p]Combat feels more dynamic โ€” you can take risks, retreat to recover, and plan your fights better.[/p]
    • [p]Just like in Borderlands, better gear means better protection![/p]
[p]This is just the first version of the system more shield variations and effects will come in future updates.[/p][hr][/hr][h2]๐Ÿ”ซ Weapon Variations[/h2][p]Weapons now have randomized damage, making every weapon unique.[/p]
  • [p]Example: a normal AK-47 can deal between 17โ€“21 damage, depending on the roll.[/p]
  • [p]This means looting and exploring will always give you new surprises โ€” you might just find that perfect high-roll weapon![/p]
[hr][/hr][h2]๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Armor & Clothing Rework[/h2][p]Armor and clothing now have clearer progression and protection values:[/p]
  • [p]All armor protection reduced by 50% for better combat balance.[/p]
  • [p]๐Ÿฆบ Bulletproof Vest (5-Slot) โ€“ Level 5 required, 5% damage protection.[/p]
  • [p]๐Ÿฆบ Bulletproof Vest (10-Slot) โ€“ Level 10 required, 15% damage protection.[/p]
  • [p]๐Ÿ‘• Cloth Shirt (5-Slot & 10-Slot) โ€“ Adds more inventory space.[/p]
  • [p]๐ŸŽ’ Hiking Backpack โ€“ Requires Level 10 to equip.[/p]
[hr][/hr][h2]๐ŸงŸ Zombie Spawn & World Adjustments[/h2]
  • [p]Edited the distance and range of all zombie spawns for smoother pacing.[/p]
  • [p]Added new spawn effects with improved visuals.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed zombies spawning incorrectly.[/p]
  • [p]Reduced zombie density in certain cities for better performance.[/p]
  • [p]Improved view distance and FPS stability.[/p]

  • [p]Fixed car exit issues (including monster truck).[/p]
  • [p]Added new paint colors for the truck and beetle vehicles.[/p]
  • [p]Added two new frog decorations, including the three-eyed frog ๐Ÿธ.[/p]

  • [p]Tokens can now be found in trash bins, lootboxes, and military chests.[/p]
  • [p]Money in chests slightly reduced for better progression pacing.[/p]
  • [p]Fiber resource now has a custom gathering sound.[/p]

  • [p]Added a loading screen in the lobby for smoother transitions.[/p]
  • [p]You can now press \[E] to loot all or click the button manually.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed small storage chest collisions, silencer compatibility, red message bug, and boss barrel collision.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed fiber physics and door lockpick issues.[/p]
