New puzzle series for Mirror Atelier await you in Cloud Machina: City of Vapour! This steampunk metropolis, called "City of Vapour", floats above the skies. Cloud Machina is a world of its own and holds thrilling stories of love, betrayal, and a desperate fight to keep the peace of the whole world.

This fable tells the story of the citizens of Renuva, also known as the "City of Vapour." Dark days are clouding the city's future, and only a few have a chance to change its fate.

Cloud Machina is a world of steampunk pseudo-science. It is a realm of dreams above the clouds where kind, soft white clouds can turn into a dark, chaotic storm at any moment. Enjoyable new puzzles and stories are awaiting you.

In this update, we have added a World Selection Dialog into the Collection screen. We will add world selection feature into the Stories screen in a separate patch to keep possible bugs at minimum.

We've also added the clue of the secret tile feature into the Collection screen. This will help you decide how you should begin solving a stage before starting it.

[h3]Biggest Changes in This Update[/h3]

• World Selection Dialog added to the Collection screen.
  You can select the world to play at the start of each game when you enter Collection Screen. If you feel that selecting a world at the start of each game is time-consuming, you may choose to disable that behavior from the Options menu. Game will remember the last world you played.
  You may reach the list of the current worlds to select another world to play from the Worlds Button in the bottom menu of related screens at your convenience.
  
• Clue of the secret tile feature added to the Collection screen.
  With this update, you will start to see small red squares on the level thumbnails. These will show you where the secret tile is in the current stage of the level. You can also have a guess about the tile count of the puzzle from the size of this red square. If you do not see a red square, that means you have completed all stages of that level.

In this update we have added keyboard navigation and a simple safety guard mechanism for Shuffle Tiles button for convenience. This update features content version 20251030-v4 with the addition of the three new cat puzzles into "Magical Cats" serie. Some more non-sensical things done by these magical cats will be in the stories screen for you to read.

[h3]Biggest Changes in This Update[/h3]

• Reshuffle Tiles button transformed into a two phase button.
  You have to click "Reveal Reshuffle Action" button in order to click "Shuffle Tiles" button. It will revert back to "Reveal Reshuffle Action" after a second.
  
• Three new levels added to "Magical Cats" serie.
  
• Keyboard Navigation added with limited features into Mirror Component.
  You can use keyboard keys to solve puzzles. See explanation below.
  

[h3]Keyboard Navigation [/h3]

• Arrow Keys: Moves secret tile in the direction of arrow.
  Note: You may prefer Show Puzzle Secret option to make secret tile visible in order to prevent confusion caused by movement of the visible tile at the opposite direction.
  
• Space Keys: Skips the current Narrative or Picture interaction screen.
  You can still read the narratives in the Stories screen after you acquire them.
  Note: Show Narrative option will be set to off by default after this patch for new players. If you are an old player you will have to disable narratives from the Options screen.
  If you think the default should be on, please open a discussion on the community hub about this subject.

It's a great time for a dev log update as we continue working on Mirror Atelier!

Firstly, since the current bug count seems to be few in number, thanks to your feedback, introducing new bugs by adding a brand new feature seemed like a "logical" next move for us.



So for a time, we've been deep in development, focusing on bringing DLC support to Mirror Atelier! As part of this, the next patch will introduce a "World Selection Dialog" directly into the Collection and Stories screens. Getting this feature right (with minimal new bugs) requires intensive testing, which is currently taking up all of our efforts.

Because of this, we've had to temporarily postpone fixes for other known bugs. This delay should be brief. We'll share a follow-up announcement as soon as testing of the DLC feature is finished. Then we can return to bug fixes and will try to fix as many of them as possible by the next update.

A protective button covering the "Shuffle Tiles" button is already in the codebase (and will most probably be in the next patch), by the way. If you have other methods for preventing accidental manual reshuffles, please send us your ideas. No promises, but we will evaluate them sincerely.

After the second major update for the "Mirror Atelier", it is time for a regular update with a new series.

This update features content version 20250929-v3 with the addition of the story of "Rangers Under the Moons". This story is an ongoing story, just like the "Moon Shade Tarot" serie. A story about a reunion awaits you.

• New puzzle series of "Rangers Under the Moons", about a reunion story, added.
  
• Three new story related achievements added to the game for "Rangers Under the Moons" serie.
  Please note that not all levels reward achievements, but you will find them.
