Endless Upgrades update! + Patch #5

This update introduces the Endless Upgrades.

Once all of the skill tree upgrades has been purchased, 8 upgrades will appear at the top of the skill tree. These upgrades can be continuously purchased and the price of each upgrade will increase each time it is purchased. These upgrades will upgrade 4 core stats, Ore Value, XP Increase, Pickaxe Stats and 2X double ore/XP chance. There is 1 upgrade for each of the 8 different materials, this means that each material has a use once the game has been completed.

Also did some minor changes.
-When switching between tabs, the skill tree screen will stay at the same position as where you left it. It will only get set to the middle when pressing play in the main menu and pressing the UPGRADE button after a mining session is done.
-Fixed an issue with some translated text. Once there are less than 3 talent cards left, grey cards will appear with some text that tells the player if there are only 2, 1 or no more talent cards left. This text did not change from English when changing language.
-Fixed some minor bugs.

Patch #4

Did some game balance!

-Midas Touch appear chance from 15% to 20%
-Gilded Treasure ore spawn count from 40 to 50.
-Regular chest spawn chance from 0.5% to 0.6%.
-Made the campfire bigger. Also increases the collider size.
-Energy Drinker trigger chance from 6% to 7%.
-Inflate Burst now has the same trigger chance and effect time (3 sec) as Energy Drinker.
-Improved X Marks The Spot and the Explorer talent card.
-I also did some balancing on a few skill tree upgrade prices. Slightly increased a few and slightly decreased a few prices.

Patch #3

More bug fixes!

-Fixed a bug where if the player reset the game after choosing all talent cards, no talent cards would appear the next time you reveal the talent cards. This would also cause the game to crash on game startup.
-Fixed a bug related to the Shape Shifter and the Inflate Burst talent. The Inflate Burst would only affect the circle UNLESS you have purchased the In and Out skill tree upgrade.
-Fixed a bug where if you only have 1 or 2 talent cards left, exit the game, then when you open the game and try to select a talent card, the talent card cannot be selected and you are not able to press on anything except the settings and main menu.

Patch #2

Fixed some bugs!

-Fixed a bug where you could drag the bottom left XP bar and get infinite levels.
-Fixed a bug where the "Crafting…" text would mess in a few different languages.
-Replaced the Portuguese flag with the Brazil flag.
-Fixed an issue where if you have the last pickaxe, the Inflate Burst and the Shape Shifter talent cards, the game would spawn too many pickaxes, which could cause the game to lag.
-Potential bug fix, I’m still looking into this bug: Once The Mine has been upgraded a lot, the mined bars could cause the object pool to overlap. (This means that the game keeps spawning objects that will never be reused and never deleted. Aka cause the game to use more and more ram) That might still be an issue. Let me know if some of you are still experiencing this.

Patch #1 + An announcement!

This patch fixes some small bugs and adds some QOL.

-Corrected some wrong French text translations.
-Corrected some typos.
-Newly crafted pickaxes will now be instantly equipped. If you craft a pickaxe that is worse than the one you have equipped (Example: if you have pickaxe nr. 10 equipped but craft nr. 9), then it will not be instantly equipped.
-Fixed a bug that would cause the skill tree upgrade tooltip to glitch out if the upgrade text description is long. This was mostly an issue in French and German.
-Added an info tooltip next to the stats inside The Mine tab button that gives some information about the mined bars. This info tells the player that the Ore Value skill tree upgrades also affect the mined bars from The Mine. This was not properly explained to the player before this patch.

announcement
So it's only been a little more than 24 hours since release but the game has already exceeded my expectations! I want to thank everyone who ended up purchasing it, wishlisting it or just simply taking an interest in the game!

So what's next? I will of course continue to fix any reported bugs and add some QOL if needed AND perhaps tweak the balance a bit. But when it comes to content updates, I have 1 on the horizon. As of right now I don't have any massive content updates planned since I very much want this game to be a short and sweet experience, but I have decided that I will at least make an update that adds some stuff for players who would like to continue to play the game after it's been completed. I can only tell you that as of right now, I am planning on adding some endless upgrades once the final skill tree upgrade has been purchased. This will make the game "endless," and is aimed at being for players who would like to grind it a little longer. I will most likely add some more stuff as well but I have not decided on everything.

You can comment ideas here but I cannot promise that I will add all your suggestions :)
